I installed my CBI Rock Sliders this morning. The whole process took me about 2 hours. I did not have a lift to make the job easy but it wasn't so bad with the help of my lovely assistant (wife) I started on the drivers side and used a floor jack to hold the most of the weight of the slider while my wife positioned it so I could get a couple of bolts started. Once I had a couple to hold it in place I just threaded the rest of the bolts then started tightening them. The 1/2 inch long bolt that goes thru the frame was impossible on the passenger side and I have not put it in yet. There is just NO room on the back side to put the nut on the bolt. Since I have a TRD Pro my frame was threaded and all the M10 bolts went in with no trouble. The install video on CBI for the Lexus GX 550 was actually more helpful than the video for the 4Runner in my opinion.

That looks nice. @Badkarma8541 , is that what you're putting on?

did you reach out to them to see if they’ve encountered this before? i’d be interested in hearing what they say about your experience!

I did not. I know it is possible to put the bolt in, I just ran out of patience. If it was up on a lift intsead me laying on my driveway in the 95 degree heat....
