differential breather modification

I haven't seen one post on a modification thread regarding moving the rear differential valve to a higher point. Is that because it is not needed in the 6th gen, or is it because it is so well known that everyone just did it?

I assume only the rear diff needs to be raised higher. I wont have the chance to get under the 4Runner until after christmas to look into this more and what to use
