Hello, i recently installed a d switch on my 6th gen Runner. Im having a hard time finding a spot to connect my trigger wires.

I would like to:

-Connect to the ignition (i found the fuse for that)
- use night mode which will dim the switch panel whenever the truck dims its inside lights
-connect to the reverse lights in order for the light pods to turn on whenever im in reverse.

I cant find the headlight fuse which is what i want to tap in or my tail lights.

Any help would be appreciated as to where i can connect my trigger wire.

Were you ever able to figure this out? I was able to install the d switch panel with rock lights. I also want the dim lighting as well as the tapping the parking light and dome/courtesy light so that they come on when i unlock and open the door. So far, not getting much luck...

I believe most of the lighting on the newer Toyota uses canbus. I got my input behind one of my dash switches (switched 12v with parking lights) and it’s working great on my d switch.
