I seem to agree but not from a child seat prospective. We sat is a Tacoma to give us an idea. Now we have our 4R, its a little less roomy than it looks from the outside.

The getting in and out is also tight. We only have 100 miles so might find an effective way to get in and out. We are not tall or wide. I know my Ford Escape is much easier to get in and out but, its got a cramped interior or more cramped than I would prefer.

I seriously looked at the Sequoya along with the Chevy Tahoe, both seem much roomier. Tye Sequoya was silly money and the Chevy’s are known for engines blowing up. So, we adjusted down but also avoided the Ford Explorer due to reliability issues on the 3.0 Ecoboost.

We will make it work. I don’t like taking a loss by selling quickly. My average ownership time is 13 years.

I am 5'9", ~215 lbs and have no problem getting in or out of the front. The rear seats I can see being an issue though. Fortunately I don't ever envision a time where someone will be back there unless it's some kind of work function and we end up car-pooling.

I've never really considered a 4runner to be an excessively roomy vehicle, but I will say the 6th gen seems more roomier in the front part than my 5th gen did.

As for the ride quality complaints the OP makes, thats surprising. I think thats first I've seen a comment like that made about the 6th gen.

Pretty much every review I've seen/read about the 6G 4Runner not from a fanboi mentions the harsh ride. It's the biggest reason I haven't pulled the trigger on a new 4Runner.
