Assistance needed: integrating BantamX w/ OEM circuits/devices

The sPOD BantamX comes standard with factory inputs, which allow you to integrate your power control module system with your vehicle’s OEM equipment.

Can you please provide me with guidance on integrating the BantamX to various helices wiring to take advantage of these features?

1. I would like to hook the BantamX to the high beam lighting circuit, so that I may activate the 20” light bar in my grill.

2. I would like to hook the BantamX to the vehicle lighting that will allow me to activate thework lights on the roof rack and the ground lighting.

3. I would like to hook the BantamX to the backup lights so that I can activate additional rear lighting for additional lighting when backing.

4. Any other OEM lighting/devices that you have found helpful.

Any assistance you can provide will be greatly appreciated.

You're about to learn that there is no such thing as a high beam circuit.... The lighting in these 6th gens are mostly CANBUS. Things are not going to be as simple as you hope. I have a BantamX installed and here is how I have things setup.

Fogs - I have Baja Design S2 pods for fogs. I wired them into the SPOD using the factory harness for trigger input. This allows them to work 100% like stock but also adds the ability to run them with high beams, dimming control, and strobing control.

20" Baja Design S8 Lightbar wired to the SPOD. To trigger on with high beams you have to use some form of decoder. I tried the CANM8 unit that the Tundra guys have been using but it doesn't work for our 4Runners. Only thing that has worked for me is the XBB Dongle. It works great, super simple install, but t isn't cheap.

Reverse lighting is also Baja Designs wired into the SPOD. I simply trigger it on with a wire ran from the rear trailer wiring. I used a T harness that is plug and play. Rather than wire the lighting directly to that as I wanted full control with strobing and all that. Now that I have the XBB dongle I could have just used the 2nd output for reverse trigger but I ran the wires long ago.

Lightbar backlighting - Could easily trigger on with parking light signal as they are typical 12v but to make it even easier I simply used the 2nd output on my XBB dongle set to ignition.
