Hello,

I recently took delivery of a ‘25 Gen6 Limited and i have discovered that Toyota decided NOT to put a cigarette lighter adapter in a $60,000 vehicle. I can see where one was meant to be installed on the right side of the cargo area.

I need to find a hot power source in the cargo area for my rear video camera.

Does anyone have a wiring diagram for a
‘25 Gen6 Limited?

Has anyone been down this road before?
Thank you in advance for your assistance.

my sr5 has a lighter port back there, pop off your side panel and look to see if the wiring it there. its a bigger maybe 12 gauge red wire attached to the pass side pillar, back side off rear tail light.

I ended up just using one of the pre wired aux switches on my Trailhunter to power the rear dash cam. l ran a the hot wire under trim from behind the driver's side kick panel where the aux plug is and just wired ground to the negative side of the battery. Now I have switched power in the trunk without any fuss.

Yes, there is. Its in the passenger side wheel well compartment where the Trailhunter air compressor is factory installed. In there you will find an unconnected connector for the compressor. It has 4 wires. The two 10 guage are always on. The black is the positive and the white/black is ground. The small wires are the ignition on wires that will charge on when the ignition is on. I detail this in my aux wiring and arb compressor install video if you want to see it.

You can also connect direct to the battery as its also in the rear cargo area.

FYI/SA

It appears as though I am SOL ??, apparently the limited does not have a hot ♨ power source in the cargo area.

bump for hybrid cargo hot power source
Why wouldn't you just wire direct to the battery? It's already back there
