Why doesn’t my wind deflector sit flush on both ends? Tried unscrewing and screwing multiple times, tried bottom screw first, then top screw and vice versa, but can’t seem to get it to sit flush

I just installed a Prinsu Pro and it's pretty flush. Mine looks different than yours -- I assume yours is setup to install a light bar. Here's what mine looks like...

The only thing I've noticed so far is that this thing whistles like crazy and gets worse at higher speeds. I have a RTT installed and didn't test it before installing the RTT, so hard to say if the problem is the rack, the RTT, or a combo. My next step is mounting the RTT farther forward as a test.

I would send your pics to Prinsu, but it doesn't look right to me -- especially if you've already tried adjusting it. Is it like that on both sides? It's hard to tell from the photo, but I'd check that the slot on the rack that the bolt passes through was cut perfectly parallel (remove bolts, then ensure distance from bolt holes to top of frame is the same on both sides, using calipers). If that's the issue, you can ask for a replacement part or drill/cut to adjust where the bolt sets. If that not the issue, I would measure the cross bar that the wind deflector is attached to in a similar way, looking for defects in bolt hole positions. If you do suspect the crossbar and it's just on one side, you can flip it around to confirm that the issue now appears on the other side of the frame. I doubt its the wind deflector itself, but you can set it on a flat surface or use a straight edge to inspect if it's warped.

Another thought... verify there is no material/debris between the wind deflector and the crossbar that it's mounted to (it looks like you should be able to see this from the top without removing it -- there should be no gap).

I found out the issue fml. It’s cause i tried installing it after i mounted the rest of the rack. I had everything preassembled and kept that off and a few bars. Then went to install it last and it gave me that issue. But once i unscrewed the mounting points and lifted the front end, i was able to make it flush. Thank god, that would have kept me irritated.

Yea mine is a lightbar cutout. I’ll let you know if I have whistling issues. I hear its somewhat common, but yours sound more than usual. I’ll let you know once i drive it to work.

Yea i’ve been driving it on the highway for few days now, pushing it up to around 80ish mph, but I have not noticed any whistling noise as of yet. Mainly just standard just wind noise. So i’m guessing it’s probably your set up, but I think i’ve read other people talk about whistling noises as well.

Quick question though, you know how when you bolt in the feet mount onto the roof, and it can adjusted. Are you suppose to have the bolt centered, or pushed all the way in toward the inside of the roof, or pulled out as far as possible?
