Removed the dam last night. much better look, unfortunately now I have to buy a better looking skid plate. The cardboard felt liner isn't quite the look I want.

That really improves the look, especially on black. In the second photo the first thing that catches your attention is the plastic piece sticking out in the sun. Your 4Runner looks so much cleaner without it now.

Unfortunately it is hard to stop there. Next list of mods, after the skid plate will be the dark chrome front logo, then black wheels and tinting the windows. I think the Sport Premium color match fenders (black on black) is the cleanest look. Still a lot of plastic on this car.

Very much improved look. I'll be doing it to our Black Sport. And adding a skid plate.

Just got my OTP and I was curious about the removal and way to much research I have a question. Is there something significantly different with the PRO front bumper? If the air damn is truly providing better gas’s mileage would the Pro not have lower number if even just 1 mph? Or is there a different bumper/skid plate combo that provides same effect?

I know I am pro overthinking this but it just caught me as and odd thing that one has air dam the other doesn’t. Would just adding the skid plate offset the lose in mpg and also add protection?

great question, lose the air dam... milage suffers, add skid plates = smoother underside for better airflow so..... milage goes up? possible
