Anyone running a 34x10.5? I just recently leveled my 4runner and was going to run 34x10.5r17s on stock wheels until after summer where I’ll pick up some Icon wheels.

How is the ride as a D load tire?

I haven't seen any set-ups with 34x10.5R17 on stock SR5 17" alloys.

I'm bouncing back and forth between 34x10.5R17s and 285/75R17s.

Seems at some point this build here was running 34x10.5R17 albeit not on stock SR5 rims. Then it seems like they started running LT305/70R17s (AT3s)

I'd be interested to know as well. I'm between 35x10.50R17 's and 35x11.50R17's both Open country R/T Trail.

The 10.50's are C load which is what I have now on my Wildpeak M/T's and the 11.50's are E load.

Leaning towards the 11.50's as they are the same weight as my 33' M/T's now

decisions decisions.

Just stumbled upon this thread. I don’t have a 4Runner but I do have a ‘26 Tacoma SR with the near identical 17X7 wheel (the silver version). The only physical difference between our wheels is offset (+60mm for Tacoma, +50mm for 4Runner). Reason for that being the brakes, all 4Runners get the larger S14W 338mm brakes while the SR/SR5 Tacomas get the S13W 319mm brakes.

Anyways, due to the similarities I feel like I can offer some input. I got the Toyo 34X10.50R17s mounted on mine on May 19. I really like them. They are super smooth, look good, and basically ended up being the perfect fit for my truck. I think they are a much better choice than a 285/75 due to the width of the narrow 7” wheel (I prefer the narrow wheel personally, but want a tire that actually works well on them).

They are a bit heavy and firm but honestly I don’t think it’s bad at all. It feels rugged to me. I’m still getting around 18-20 mpg which is the same I got when I ran LT265/70R17 C loads for a while. I can post pics if desired but didn’t want to blow the 4Runner forum up with Tacoma pics.

Hope this helps, I say go for them if you haven’t already.
