Hi - I have had my '25 ORP hybrid for about two months. Remotely starting from the mobile app works fine everytime. However, I have never been able to get it to work from either of the factory fobs. I have read through all of the past threads I could find on this topic and I'm certain I'm pressing the buttons in the right sequence for the right duration. I have tried it from short range (standing next to 4R) as well as long range (100' away). I'm stumped at this point - any suggestions? Thanks!

Same here.
At first After many failed attempts someone took the fob and pressed the unlock button many times.
Then tried the remote sequence, it worked.
Not sure if it was coincidence or actually got things going.
I do know the timing and side of car are important. Also I have to have line of site to the drivers side.
On mine the three lock sequence must happen within about 2 seconds.

I’m having the same issue, pressed lock 3 times quickly (holding lock down on 3rd press) and nothing happens. Just flashing lights and hearing the lock engage/beep. Only the app works for remote start.

Is it possible that certain trims you can’t remote start via FOB?? I have the ORP hybrid.

It works for me but it took me a few tries so you are not alone. You gotta:

1. Press lock and let go.
2. Press lock again and let go.
3. Press lock again but DON'T let go. Keep holding the button until the lights flash multiple times and then you should hear whining in the engine bay before the car starts up.

BTW: The first time I did it, I had to hold it down for quite a bit for some reason (give it around 15 seconds). Remember that timing is honestly key cause it you do it too quickly or slowly it won't work. A trick that I use is to click the fob once, then wait for the car to beep before clicking it again. That timing seems to work perfectly for me. However I'm not sure if hybrid models work differently. Hope this helps!

Thanks everyone for the input & tips so far. Still no luck for me with both remotes. Time to discuss with the dealer I guess.
