Wow that's actually crazy. I doubt this is gonna be the last time we see those marks that look like cracks. I really appreciate you guys helping me out and now I don't have to worry about this vehicle being unsafe to operate! :)

Ok! If there is no defect, can you take a picture so I can go to another dealership with a reference on what it's suppose to look like? That way, they won't give me the BS about it being a casting mark.

You guys should all check to see if you have the same issue before the warranty expires. If I had brought the vehicle in to the dealer to do the oil change, I wouldn't have caught that issue until it was too late.
