I haven't owned my TRD Pro for long but after 2,000 miles driven I'm pretty happy with the overall mpg. I have a combined 18.8 mpg which includes a mixture of highway commute, city driving, and 2/10 or 3/10 onX trails. I just got back from a long trip today and the last leg of my trip I got 21.4...
I appreciate the reply and looking forward to the follow up pics! Yeah, I could not imagine dealing with rust on the frame for the price of these 4Runners.
@Formidable Thank you for this thread post! I am a recent new 4Runner owner and was looking into undercoating in WA State and came across this thread! I actually reached out to this shop, and they told me about you haha!
How is this holding up so far?
Still really happy with it?
They quoted...
Hello everyone! I'm a newer 4Runner owner and never owned a 4x4 like vehicle before so I'm learning and exploring all sorts of new adventures. I recently took my 4Runner to the beach to watch a beautiful sunset and got so many fun pictures! I knew post care for going to the beach at least...
This will be the last time post on this thread! Today I went on a 2/10 onX trail that really surprised me. The weather at my normal elevation was really cloudy with low hanging clouds. I climbed just enough elevation that at the top I was just above the cloud coverage and got some amazing views...
I’m normally all for buying a lower spec and building as I have in the past, but I’d rather buy the out of box ready 4Runner than save, a few thousand, to make the ORP a Pro with labor hours. I also love the interior of the pro and all the black accenting, to some thats not a worth it reason but...
I was torn initially as I wanted to of course save money up front buying the ORP, but I kept getting faced with the large differences between these 2 rigs. Also, exactly what you said, the resale on these are going to be much higher which may result in less depreciation. I presume, like most...
Thank you for your response, I appreciate you taking time to write all of that! I knew 90% of these differences in my head, but man writing it out is a whole different story. Honestly didn't realize how much was different between the two until seeing your post, when you put it like that the...
Thank you for your input! I'm kind of similar in how I will most likely drive this vehicle. While I plan to take it off road once to twice a month, most of the miles will be light offroad and pavement. I do live in an area where I have access to things I haven't had a vehicle for like higher...
Hello all! I have been wanting to join the 4runner family for a long time now and now in the position to get my first one! I have done a lot of my own research and with what I want from a 4runner I want to get either a TRD ORP or a TRD Pro. I should preface; I may have an opportunity to leave...
