  1. No Bass in JBL Rear Subwoofer & Rear Door Speakers

Just from my experience, the sound I get in my premium is about average from a dealers premium system. My bronco is the same way and I see the same thing in the bronco forums. Sadly, I don’t think premium really means PREMIUM. It’s just a marketing term that means “upgraded from base system...
  2. No Bass in JBL Rear Subwoofer & Rear Door Speakers

For some reason you seem upset. People here are just trying to help. There’s no way for anyone here to know whether you are a newbie or not. I was suggesting you do that so you can see if it’s really playing or if you have an issue requiring a visit to the dealer, because some people don’t...
  3. No Bass in JBL Rear Subwoofer & Rear Door Speakers

Isn’t the stock subwoofer size for a tundra a 10 inch sub versus the 7 inch in a forerunner?
  4. No Bass in JBL Rear Subwoofer & Rear Door Speakers

Mine is not like that at all although, the amp that comes in these doesn’t seem to do much until you get it up to 35. If you’ve turned it up and you are only a couple notches back and don’t hear anything, I would suggest heading to the dealer to have it checked
  5. No Bass in JBL Rear Subwoofer & Rear Door Speakers

To me that sounds like you need to head to the dealer then. You might have a problem with an amp or something unplugged
  6. No Bass in JBL Rear Subwoofer & Rear Door Speakers

Remember, its stock...dont expect a thump. I didnt hear much at first either because the front speaker was so overpowering. Move the listening area back a couple of notches, Turn up the bass and try again. See if that helps. It's probably there... just crappy due to the fact that its a 7"...

  8. Disable School Zone Alert? (14" display screen)

Its funny that some of us never see it and cant get it to turn on, while others of us always see it and cant get it to turn off. And also, some of us get these notifications audibly announced while others dont. There has to be a hidden menu or maybe a setting by trim level.
  9. Disable School Zone Alert? (14" display screen)

coincidentally I’ve never had any alert about breaking ahead. And mine does not speak to me. It’s just a yellow banner. I wonder if Toyota randomly tests different software features and some of us have different features than others.
  10. Disable School Zone Alert? (14" display screen)

Well, after testing, I can definitively say that turning off RSA does not fix the issue. I also have the same result as other users who say it happens whether using CarPlay or android auto. So far I’ve not been able to find any way to shut this off so if anybody finds a definitive method, I...
  11. Disable School Zone Alert? (14" display screen)

I had not thought about turning off RSA because there was not an option for school zones, and because all of those alerts typically show up on the instrument cluster. The school zone alert shows up on the 14” infotainment screen, and is a bright yellow banner that covers the entire top of the...
  12. Disable School Zone Alert? (14" display screen)

I love sarcasm… I did the same 10 second google search and got the same 10 second answer. Good thing the internet is always right. LOL. Those options aren’t actually part of the software. They were from the 2024 and older. Google is wrong. A 27 second google search turned nothing up...
  13. Disable School Zone Alert? (14" display screen)

Has anyone discovered a way to turn off the school zone alerts on the 14 inch screen? I purchased an TRD ORP HYBRID. Unfortunately, I pass through six school zones on my way to work and again on my way home, and every single time I do, I get a big yellow flashing bar across my screen. It’s...

  15. CarPlay Messages Volume Impossible to Hear

Generally yes. If you adjust it while the actual voice assistant is talking, it will adjust the voice assistance setting not the phone.
