Interested in Carista and other OBDII tools that allow me to diagnose and change settings via Bluetooth and phone app. I have a very basic plug-in, handheld OBDII reader that I had gotten from an auto parts store many years ago. It just reads error codes and erases error codes, but that's it...
Haven't really driven it on the highway yet, just around town. I had been using Eco and Normal up until recently when began trying the Sport drive modes. Driving with Eco and Normal modes is surprisingly still indicating an average of 19.2 MPG overall. Though, I've noticed that it's gradually...
I'm planning to tune and install the cold air intake in the near future. In the meantime, I'm still deciding on which cold air intake to install. But this subject is for a different discussion thread.
Blackstone Lab's analysis reported the original factory 0W20 Toyota motor oil with a viscosity of 6.15 cSt from my first oil change at around 1,300 miles. I'm a newbie to doing oil analysis, but people had told me that the original factory Toyota 0W20 motor oil had essentially thinned to...
I have been driving conservatively in Eco and Normal drive modes during the engine break-in period. But now that my rig is beyond the break-in period, I recently tried the Sport and Sport+ drive modes and opened up the throttle a little more. OMG! Love the throttle response! The engine sound...
Sorry to hear that this happened to you! Hope the authorities are able to recover your vehicle. Sounds like this is a huge issue in Ontario and Quebec provinces. It sounds like it's almost a given if drive your 6th Gen rig in those two provinces it's likely that your vehicle will be targeted.

Thanks @josiahg52 & @CAMTuning for the explanation about the two different dyno test methods and why the manufacturer's and aftermarket's performance test data differ! Makes sense. Glad to know that the Cobb Stage 1 tuning will improve the performance beyond stock, not bring performance to par...
Cobb's Web site shows a performance chart based on dyno testing of the IForce Max (hybrid) stock vs the Cobb Stage 1 tuned. The chart seems to show their tested stock peak horsepower (approximately 297 hp) of the IForce Max is less than Toyota's stated peak horsepower of 326 hp and the stock...
Cobb recommends hooking up a 10A-20A 12V battery charger to the vehicle's 12V battery to ensure the vehicle has auxiliary power when the Accessport is uploading the new map to the ECU (and avoid draining the battery which would interrupt the map upload and brick the ECU). Does anyone who has...
