@Jack, could you provide a link to the soft-side folding storage bin from your pic. That looks bigger than most I've seen and looks like a pretty good size.
ORP has the same grab handle location as zgreen showed above for the Pro. I'm still trying to figure out the best sequence of left hand, right hand, grab handle, steering wheel, left foot/right foot and running board, for both entry and exit. The stock running board on the ORP is kind of in the...
I can confirm from my post above that if you have the max height set fairly low, to increase it you just open it to the current (low) max limit, manually push up the liftgate to the higher position you want to re-set the max to (it takes some effort to push it up), then push and hold the left...
Thanks a lot for that info! I just looked it up and the 32GB FAT32 limit is a windows thing, but you can apparently get around it with a 3rd party tool called Rufus.
Did you convert everything to mp3 just because the size, with all files as FLAC, was >256GB of the flash drive?
That conversion...
@vready , a couple other questions when you have a moment:
Since the manual says the USB flash must be formatted FAT32 (32GB size limit), but your 256GB USB works, it can't actually be limited at FAT32 so is your USB formatted exFAT or NTFS? I'll just copy whichever one works for you.
And just...
Yes, I'm wondering that too (if you want the new max to be higher than the old). I'm thinking maybe (standing at the liftgate) you open it to the preset max, push it UP manually to the desired height, then hold in the button to reset to current height.
Either that or you can go to settings in...
What I didn't try yet, but I'm pretty sure it will hit too (for a different reason, at the top of travel) is opening the liftgate (forward parked) with the garage door up. I think there's a way to limit the upper travel of the liftgate but I haven't looked that up yet. It seems the factory...
(2025 ORP) My garage is about 20'7"deep but the innermost 4' is a step-up of about 4" (a raised path to walk in front of the cars), so it's really only about 16'7" deep. I have no idea if this is typical, or small for a garage (it's a 1990's house), but a full sized truck definitely won't fit...
According to the manual, the 4runner supports a maximum of 32GB USB stick for music. Can you confirm that you can see more than 32GB of music files using this 256GB USB flash drive plugged into the 14" monitor's USB-C slot?
Any recommendations for a USB-c flash drive to play music from, to plug into the right edge of the 14" screen, that doesn't stick out like a giant wart?
Or maybe a low-profile right angle USC-C-to-A adaptor, to plug a vertical USB-A flash into?
It's probably in one of the manuals but if anyone...
I'm not positive but I don't think the part number you've listed above is the correct wheel for the optional $1325 wheel.
The PART# you listed (PT946-35240-2F 18x8.5 139.7 6 lug )
...looks like this...
I'm trying to figure out whether the standard ORP wheel (which is 18x7.5, +55 offset) with its 265/70R18 tires is the same tire size as when you get an ORP with the $1325 optional TRD 18 wheels (which are 18x8, +45 offset if I'm not mistaken).
Or in other words, if you buy an ORP with the...
Not so fast. This is apparently just the reciprocal tariffs that are paused. The auto tariffs remain:
" He did, however, keep the 10% baseline duties that went into effect last weekend for all countries, although that does not apply to Mexico or Canada, which still face a separate set of duties...
Here's a link to the 2025 4runner accessories brochure (they still have no brochure for the vehicle itself). There are some red tow hooks shown but not sure if there are other options not shown in the brochure. These are generally better (bigger) photos than within the build and price tool...
All windshields have to be laminated glass in the US. But not all laminated glass is acoustic glass. It depends on the material used in the middle sandwiched layer for the sound reduction properties.
I'm not sure there's really any insider information, just people claiming to have it. ;o) The outcome seems to be in the hands of the "magic 8 ball" at this point.
There's probably some coded marking on the window to indicate it. Lower right corner is usually where the markings are. You'd probably have to look up the brand (shown in the markings) to decode it, but sometimes there's and icon, e.g. an ear with a line through it.
Probably only the premium...
