Definitely a larger fuel tank. Relocate the rear camera setup. Flat folding rear seats…but they nailed the off-road capabilities. I have no complaints about that…not even no front locker. MTS compensates for that in pretty much all scenarios except technical rock crawling and gives you a better...
lol…I have to agree with you on the bottle opener thing. I look like I have a drinking issue and I’m afraid to get more than an arm’s length away from the nearest way to crack open a cold one. As for the ladder, I get the spurious warning from time to time. I’ll have to pay more attention to it...
Nice setup on your TH! What prompted the move to the Kings? Was it a weight issue with the OME or just personal preference. I think I’ve maxed out the stock OME’s capacity in terms of the amount of weight I’m carrying. Trying to decide which direction I want to go. Does the CBI rear bumper have...
Yeah I’m working that issue right now. With the spare, rack & Rotapax I expected at least 1” of sag so I put some Dobinsons on. Result was 2.5” of rake…lol. I switched back to the stock OME and found out they had left the precollar puck in which added o.75” to the rake. I’m going to wait until I...
Ok - there is plenty of info w/ the Wolfbox and like you said there is a lot of room between the redline and the rear of the truck. Good clarity as well. It would be pretty easy to adjust to the new view. Really appreciate the info! Any sag on the rear with the added weight?
No - all systems including camera work 4.0 after installation. Used camera extensively during recent off-roading in San Juan’s (Alpine Loop, Ophir Pass, La Plata Canyon, etc) . Particularly helpful on narrow shelf roads and image displayed/guide lines matched actual conditions quite nicely...
Ok - so you’re still using the 360 on your main monitor…correct? The Wolfbox looks like it’s providing a lot of good info though. When you select reverse, does it still display the view on the main monitor… just obscured by the tire?
Nice! What’s the impact on your rear camera? Still trying to do decide best solution for spare. Really don’t want to lose the rear view capabilities.
Perfect - I’ll check them out! The rear valence on the TH matched the front valence which is kinda’ a bronze thing. Replaced the front bumper when I put a winch on so just catching up. Like your “hydration break” system…I get a lot of work done that way as well.
Looks fantastic! I’ve been looking at that same valence on my TH and want to swap it out for black or paint it. Did you find any type of instructions/guides before you started the disassembly?
Crash Bracket Delete and pinned the liner forward. I do have a preload collar on, which I think helps, but that was more to compensate for the weight of an aftermarket bumper and winch. 11.5 vs 12.5 makes a big difference in terms of keeping the scrub radius tight and allowing the tire to tuck...
lol…having been in a few deuce and a half’s I can certainly appreciate your analogy. It is a difficult balance trying to accommodate weight, strength of build and ride quality. Appreciate your insight.
Interesting data - you’ve certainly put some effort into your research. I understand your concern with 2 ply tires - particularly off road. I am curious what your concerns are with E load tires.
Yeah - that’s a tough one. I went back and forth myself. You’ll get everything I talked about on the Pro plus the adjustable Fox suspension setup. It’s a nice package for sure. I guess it came down to where I thought I’d spend the most time off road. We tend to gravitate toward the mountains.
