  1. Hybrid vs. Gas Non-Hybrid Dyno Comparison - Stock HP / LB-FT Real World Numbers! (87 Octane)

You're too focused on the 8%. HP isn't the only measure of performance, especially in an application like ours. That torque gain is what makes it worth it, and the weight isn't as high as you think.
  2. Best Upper Control Arm UCA?

Here for the same thing OP. I'm in a similar situation. I actually considered using TRD Pro control arms since they're forged. You can find them on KingShocks.com. Expect to spend near $4000. They're much more of an off-road shock than on-road. I would research shock behaviors or reach out to...
  3. Interior Hard Plastics Noticeable in Daily Driving?

It honestly is kind of annoying, because the plastics just scratch and scuff easily. I get some weird rattles from the drivers side doors with bass turned up at some frequencies too. It's not a super big deal, but for what Toyota's selling them for, I don't really understand why every touch...
  4. Trailhunter fender flare part numbers?

As best as I can tell, Toyota doesn't sell replacements pre-painted. They would have to be painted after purchase, but it looks like the door section of the right rear fender flare is around $120 from Toyota and the rear-most section is around $170. If what I'm seeing is correct, PN for the...
  5. Trailhunter fender flare part numbers?

I'm not entirely sure, but I can try to investigate. What's your paint color, and which one did you scratch?
  6. Prewired AUX on ORP?

If you could post or send that to me, it would be great help. I've been using Alldata for Tacoma at this point, which doesn't appear to be complete. It's unclear right now what trims might be pre-wired to the dash (that weren't optioned for aux switches). Based on a few Tacoma's I've looked...
  7. ICE CAP WHITE Photos 4Runner 6th Gen (2025+)

Man that looks good, but it's absolutely going to smash the fender trim if you ever fully articilate the suspension. What offset are you running?
  8. 2025 4Runner TRD Off Road: Westcott Lift, KMC Riot +18 offset, Toyo Open Country R/T 295/70/18

Man that looks good, but it's absolutely going to smash the fender trim if you ever fully articilate the suspension. What offset are you running?
  9. Prewired AUX on ORP?

Most def!! Adding this for future search index. This seems to be an accurate wiring diagram for the factory switch, based on what I found with my meter. Basically, Wire 1: Receives 12V when the headlights are on to backlight the switch. Wire 2: Receives 12V anytime the ignition is on. Wire...
  10. Prewired AUX on ORP?

Alright so here's what I found over the weekend; On the factory harness, Pink and Yellow wires are powered when the ignition is on. This is why @vready added the Caliraised switches and found the switch illuminated when cycled on and off. Brown is ground,so the other two must be related to the...
  11. Prewired AUX on ORP?

Dude, you're a legend, thanks! Already kinda figured out a few things I'm probably gonna share later, but this will be super helpful.
  12. What'd you drive before your 6th Gen 4Runner?

Have had quite a few, but here are the recent. My '19 Z06 and Xterra.
  13. Hybrid vs. Gas Non-Hybrid Dyno Comparison - Stock HP / LB-FT Real World Numbers! (87 Octane)

It'll be interesting to see what it does on higher octane fuel, but I don't expect that +20whp is a reality on fuel alone. There doesn't seem to be any indication that it's pulling much timing (if any at all) on the factory tune. That said, there's certainly more in the proverbial tank and...
  14. Trailhunter fender flare part numbers?

@NYTOP is def the way to go! I'm considering adding their flares for the same reason you are, also because the carbon looks great.
  15. Hybrid vs. Gas Non-Hybrid Dyno Comparison - Stock HP / LB-FT Real World Numbers! (87 Octane)

Manufacturers rate power and torque at the flywheel, not at the tires. Hybrid is quite a bit higher. We're gaining about 24whp and 63 ft-lbs of torque, which is a nice amount.
  16. Trailhunter fender flare part numbers?

Front: 75086-35090 (LH) 75085-35090 (RH) Rear: 75605-35160 (RH rear section) 75606-35160 (LH rear section) 75061-35030 (RH front section) 75062-35030 (LH front section) Total parts cost will be around $1300, so not worth it. NYTOP has FRP for $749 and carbon starting at $1249.
  17. Hybrid vs. Gas Non-Hybrid Dyno Comparison - Stock HP / LB-FT Real World Numbers! (87 Octane)

For those who are curious about the difference in output between the Hyrbid and non-Hybrid powertrains, here's what you can expect; We put two identically spec'd Tacoma's on our Dynojet chassis dyno a few weeks ago...except one is sporting the Hybrid I-Force Max engine. Both were on 87 octane...
  18. MPG

Stock size tire? Non-hybrid? FYI, Eco mode will affect throttle input and shift tables. Basically, throttle input is dampened, and it will shift earlier and hold a higher gear longer to reduce RPM.
