Your car, your choice. Easy as that. After the break-in mine is getting 5W-30 Liquimoly. I do about 5000-6000 miles a year so mine is getting changed each year rather than mileage.
For intervals keep usage in mind. If you live in flat country, don't tow heavy and most of your miles are on the...
If you have conical lugs, you don't need the rings. As long as you tighten them in a star pattern, and then torque them with weight on the wheels, you'll be absolutely fine. I've ran race cars for years that way, and it's never been an issue. The reason we don't use rings is because of the...
The battery is why I went with the ORP instead of the PRO. I don't want to deal with hybrid/electric anything for as long as I can. If the Pro came in 4cyl only, I'd have taken that.
But that's not related to offset. That's tire width. Offset is the distance of the hub of the wheel from center. If all else stays equal, tires and wheel width, the offset pushes the entire package in or out.
If you put a 285/70/18 on a 8 inch wheel with a +35 offset, and you add a 10mm...
10mm of offset doesn't magically give you "an inch or two" of poke lol.
Assuming the width of the wheels are the same, going from a +35 to a +25 will give you exactly 10mm of poke.
Waste of money. You can get into a wreck before your factory warranty is over, you can decide to sell your car, so on and so forth. Don't buy one until your factory warranty expires. I've never bought one and I've never needed to use one.
Offset, like sidewall height, isn't a set number. +35 offset on a 9 inch wheel is going to look very different from a 7.5 inch wheel.
If you want to know what it looks like, go to

Put in your current wheel info, then the wheel you're looking at, and it will tell...
Yup, that's because it screws into the oil pan and therefore there's a little lip from the body of the valve sticking into the pan. The bottom oil where the crud is won't completely drain.
I'm going with 285/65/18. Same diameter as the OE 265/70/18 but wider tread obviously for a meatier look. Also saves having to buy a 5th tire as the spare will still work, not to mention saving a bit on each tire as the 285/70/18 is fairly more expensive per tire.
My skid plate and front tow hooks arrived yesterday, the rear hook is on the way, just need the car to be delivered 🤣 was supposed to be here day after Christmas, but the weather had other ideas.
Another logical assumption. Toyota would rather replace thousands of engines under warranty because of "marketing". What does Toyota have to gain by writing 10,000 miles in their manual instead of 5,000?
