I will just pile on here since I put the TRD skid plate on my SR5. Like the other said, you either need to:
Buy 2 more bolts since the SR5's stock "skid plate" only uses 4 bolts and the TRD uses 6
Buy the skid plate bolt kit from Toyota when you order the skid plate, it comes with 6 replacement...
I've been seeing a lot of people commenting on the long shipping times and lack of updates. Some people have apparently been waiting over 2 months with no communication. Makes me hesitate a little to order, at least right now since they seem to be having a supply/demand shortage.
Yup! I ended up buying the aluminum TRD one from Toyota using a promo code I had + discount they were running. I think it ended up costing me like $274 shipped. I had to order it from a dealer in Florida to get the cheapest price. I will PM you what I did to see if the code works for you (you...
I ordered mine few weeks ago, and I think California has like a 4 month wait on custom plates, but I ordered "YONRUNR"
Yon = 4 in Japanese.
Everything else I could think of was taken
Or just get them all professionally powder coated whatever color you want.
Depending on your location, its a pretty cost effective solution. I know in my area, there are tons of powder coaters offering $100 per wheel deals.
Tuxmats are the best to me because of:
Coverage - they cover the most and ride up the highest out of any floor mat
Texture/Material - I am not a fan of all-weather mats generally since the rubber squeaks and can feel kinda cheap. Tuxmats material feels a little more "premium" to me.

Main reasons:
Let fresh air into the car while keeping rain, snow and debris out
The look/style
You can leave windows cracked open while you park without the look of the window being open
Yup, same thing happens to me too. It's fine if I am cruising, but when I start to slow down to come to a stop, it kicks some water up into the windshield.
Contact "Coast Wheels and Tires" in Costa Mesa, CA.
When I did my wheels/tires/leveling kit, I bought everything through them AND had them install it. Pricing for my stuff and list of work:
- Method 703's x4
- Toyo Open Country 285/70r17's (SL load) x4
- ReadyLift Leveling Kit
- Full alignment...
I can only speak for myself, but detailing is a hobby for me. I just happen to own a 4Runner, so I own a clean, detailed 4Runner. Owning a particular vehicle doesn’t mean you have to neglect it. Even people who off-road regularly aren’t doing it seven days a week, so why not enjoy driving a...
I don' think its a hinge problem if where I think the squeak Sween is experiecnig is what I am thinking of.
Does it sounds like its coming from the interior door panel? There have been a few threads and a video from TRD Jon about this. He also had the noise when pulling the door handle to...
So much misinformation about ceramic coatings. I love how on one hand, companies/installers will tout how its tough it is, and then immediately say "but only wash it with ph neutral shampoo". Which is it? Durable or fragile enough to be harmed by a slightly acidic or alkaline soap?
Heres my...
