Definitely helps with the hood not flopping in highway speeds. It reduces the engine noise, and from my observation makes the hood appear more sturdy. I heard it helps protect the paint and the thermal aspect makes sense too.

Curious on this too, at what point does an OR outperform the SR5?

This weekend, added Hood Struts and decided to paint the factory front tow hooks red. For now, the factory hooks in red add the subtle pop I was looking for.
