I see no evidence of a rock hit Nor do I remember hearing something this the windshield. If you look in the red circle there is a horizontal line and I can feel it with my finger nail on the inside of the glass only. Held my hat up for contrast to see it on camera
I am far from an expert so I asked a computer if it was just for looks or not and I thought it was a good answer
Here’s a clear breakdown of what’s going on with Toyota’s standard black recovery/tow points on your 2025 4Runner TRD Off-Road and the Toyota upgrade (Part No. PT974-89251-03) — and...
I’ve had the back since May but finally added the front today. You need the flat black Toyota overlay to make it look like this. Install was easy, you can probably sense a theme. Purchased on stickerfab
Honestly, that’s a really good question. I was always under the impression that they only activated over a certain speed when the airflow going through the unrestricted part was plenty for cooling the motor while in motion. Never thought about closing it off to help. Try to warm things up.
Install was pretty easy. The cut was perfect on the vinyl. (Purchased from @StickerFab) The vinyl does stretch a little bit with being in the sun and the heat so difficulty I would rate at a five out of 10. And finished install a nine out of 10 I still have a couple little creases near corners...
Ugly.... I havn't wanted to pony up the money on a different set yet... thought about powder coating them since the design itself isn't bad, just the colors. A solid bronze, grey, black would have looked tougher
I wouldn't want to bang it on anything other than a small mammal crossing the road. Ive seen videos of people bending them like a piece of cardboard after upgrading.
I'm guessing when you go with anything larger than stock most people just remove the spare? I've been blessed to never need to change a tire on the side of a road but don't like the idea of losing that safety net (on trails or somewhere remote). I carry sidewall repair kit and plugs already.
The Hybrid should have the Aux switches and from what another use posted... they ran ditch lights to the connector in the engine bay and hit the switch inside the cabin and ta da let there be light sounded like a 10 min job. I have a non hybrid so I can not verify 100%
I’m not sure if my Kids did it or wife’s diamond ring. I was trying to see if I can order just the arm rest but wasn’t having luck finding that. Should I maybe glue it down so it doesn’t get worse? This is the rear passenger door
I took my ORP on some trails like Broken Arrow in Sedona AZ (rated a 5 onX app) and didn't even engage 4lo. Not saying you won't find need but I think you'll be pretty good if keeping it relatively mild.
