This is EXACTLY what I've noticed with our 4Runner still stock and my Tacoma with same wheels as you and 275/70/18's. It's made me rethink the upgrades I was going to do to the 4Runner, I think I'm going to stay with what's on there stock and just level it with better 265's now.
Looks really good, love the way they made it look OEM. I have a winch sitting in my garage waiting to be installed on our Bronco but was thinking of putting it on our '25 Taco. Rago didn't do a good job on the Taco version, if it looked like this one, I would have bought one!
Looks WAY better for sure, I HATED the silver on our '23 TRDORP as well and changed it out to black. I agree though why the silver makes zero sense on the higher trims.
You must be towing under 60MPH and it looks like your trailer load is around 2000 pds? Towing our 5k pd trailer under 60MPH we get 12MPG and over 70MPH on the Interstate 9-10MPG. Ours is a Hybrid as well so really curious how you only drop 1MPG?
Just rolled 6k miles and still around 22.5 to 23.5 mixed driving. On my '25 Tacoma Hybrid I only get 19.5-20 but I lifted it a little and did E rated 275/70/18's.
Is the gap from the top of the tire to the fender larger in the front? Can't tell from your pics but it looks like it. Going to do the same level but might just do the 1in.
Don't forget Coopers too, I switched from Toyo ATIII's to Coopers and was shocked at how much smoother and quieter the ride was for a more aggressive tire.
Anybody have this issue going on with their seat? I had it in Thursday as all three triangle white pieces had come out, they supposedly fixed it but one has already come back out. Dealer said he's going to order me a new seat bottom cover to fix.
Not sure, if he can give me that price anybody should be able to negotiate it, with 6G's so new right now you might be right. I had to push him on our TRDOR Hybrid a bit to get a decent deal back in May and that deal wasn't as good as other deals he's giving me but at the time nobody was...
I misspoke it was a Trailhunter not a Pro but yes my dealer said $63k and change so probably closer to $64k. If I remember the Pros are the same price so shouldn't be too far off that price for a Pro. As for getting you the deal probably not, I've been working with this dealer for 10+years and...
Great minds think alike, yes I did the same Rave brackets on mine, actually that was the only hold up in shipping I had. I think my issues were around the assembly being slightly and mean slightly to the driver's side, the pass side didn't want to snap in.
This was not fun for me! taking it apart was easy but the sides didn't want to snap back in, took hours of being frustrated and several beers. BUT you have me thinking about it for sure, the grill is only $87 shipped to my house right now.
I've been regretting not getting the Aux/Alternator package and towing package but after building one with those and the roof it's over $61k. That's way more than I'll spend on a 4Runner so might need to look for a TH or Pro slightly used if I really want those options. Toyota needs to adopt a...
I did the same on my '25 Tacoma, TH Grill and Heretic 20". Did you have to take the entire front end off like the Tacoma or can you just remove the lower section of the Grill? thinking of doing this upgrade but not sure I want to do the front-end removal again.
