i just installed one and videoed most of it but i haven't had time to edit everything yet. is there a certain part where you're stuck? i can DM it some clips. i can reach the controls through the bumper from the outside.
The missing crossbar from the 3/4 ARB rack? I have an extra one still in the shipping tube (accidentally ordered 2). You can have it for free. You create UPS shipping label and send to me.
you have no idea what you're talking about. lots of taco owners and owners of other 4x4s with snorkels do this. not invented here.
airflow passes around the edges of a sponge plug inside the snorkel because the sponge is porous and not a perfect seal. it fits snugly but does not block the...
Tough break.
Try one of these, it does help.
Remove the two phillps head screws on the protective louvered screen/grille and then it'll pop right out when you pull on it. Push your sponge inside the snorkel tube about 1–2 inches down so it can't be seen but not so deep that you can’t remove...
i don't know the answer since i only have the one truck, but i did not hear ESE either until i turned it off. the dealer can also turn it off for you, if it's a feature of the ORP
I sometimes have more gear than sense myself, but that's a lot amount of money to remove a hallmark feature from your trim. $1170 would buy a lot of beers and/or a round-trip ticket to Paris in Comfort+.
Me, I just shoved a car wash sponge in there. One can still hear it, but it's not loud. It...
Finally got it. You have to pull HARD! Had to wear gloves because it was slicing up my fingertips too.
I ended up breaking the outside trim. That was even more diabolical than removing the console (and I am somewhat experienced in trim removal/replacement). I had to fix broken tabs with...
i turned off ESE using carista and my TH hybrid is now noticeably quieter. i also crammed a shop sponge down into the snorkle and that is maybe 2/3rds quieter. you can still hear it (fun) but its not obnoxious for the passenger with the windows down anymore.
I have this one for my 105lb old labrador to get into my trailhunter. I needed to add a 6" drop/rise hitch adapter because the TH is very high and the step is otherwise straight out from the hitch. The benefit of this thing is that it doesn't take up the whole cargo area like some solutions.
