  1. Are these cloth seats or Softex seats?

You must really like swamp-ass! Either that, or you live in the Arctic Circle where it never gets warm. :p During my first summer in AZ, my neoprene seat covers went BUH-BYE!
  2. 3rd row + cloth seats photos from 2025 Toyota 4Runner 6th gen (third row available only on non-hybrid SR5 and Limited trims)

I'm fairly certain it will, but that's still a larger TV on the dash than I had in my room as a kid! Even in "Dark Mode" it will still put out light and possibly be a distraction. I like the way it's integrated into the dashboard on the Land Cruiser. It's much smarter and sleeker.
  3. Hybrid Tacoma Pricing (U.S. / Canada), MPG and First Drive Reviews are out, including TRD Pro and Trailhunter

4R's are currently priced about 25% higher starting than the current Taco's, so if your wondering about price point, there ya go.
  4. Onboard Air Compressor in Trailhunter 4Runner -- Specs? ARB Air Compressor?

Most name brand stuff has their logo on it. I don't see any brand markings on this, but then again, it's pre-production so that's subject to change. Maybe it's a Viair, so it's not labeled as to not interfere with the ARB collab. A compressor is one of those things that I never leave home...
  5. Issues / Build Quality checked on 6th Gen 4Runner 2025 model

I'm a little surprised that the body isn't aluminum. That seems to be the trend, these days.
  6. Video: 2025 4Runner is Half Tacoma & Half Land Cruiser - Best of Both Worlds? 4Runner vs. Other TNGA-F Models -- by David Chao, Engineer

Considering there are 5 vehicles built on the same frame, Toyota is obviously attempting to save money. Therefore, I'm almost certain that most chassis and frame mounted equipment will be interchangeable. I'm all about this, because I've never owned a stock vehicle for long after purchase. I...
  7. Trailhunter onboard air compressor - duty cycle?

We probably won't know little details like this until they hit the production line and are available for order on the Toyota website.
  8. 2025 4Runner Order | Pre-Order | Deposit | Reservation | Waitlist -- List & Stats

I'm waiting a couple years, until Toyota addresses all the customer complaints. Give it 3-5 years and it will be perfected by then.
  9. Turbo lag from Hybrid 4Runner i-Force Max engine?

I'm not impressed. I don't appreciate having my posts changed at will without my permission. I've never been a member of a forum in which this behavior is accepted as normal. I do understand that there are MANY more 4Runnerforums that I could join, I just happened to join this one.
  10. 2025 4Runner lights at night: headlights, tail lights, DRL, turn signal, sidemarkers, LED light bar

Again - Red turn signals?! Why, Toyota? NO! I'm not going to let this go...
  11. Specs: 2025 4Runner 6th Gen trims, models, colors, MPG, dimensions, GVWR weight, towing, clearance, approach / departure / breakover angle

I'd like to know if they're going to maintain the 23 Gallon fuel tank with the hybrid, since the battery is above the frame, in the passenger compartment. If it only has a 17 gallon tank, that would be a massive letdown. That's one major thing that steered me away from the Bronco. The much...
  12. 18" wheels seen, hoping the 4Runner TRD Pro and Trailhunter can fit 17s

Most likely. You just need to find an appropriately sized tire to fit.
  13. Off-Road Tires: Wide vs Narrow Width -- a Scientific Comparison

I've always been a fan of pizza cutters. I hate the huge, fat tires sticking a foot out of the wheel wells look.
  14. SDM Stabilizer Sway Bar Disconnect Mechanism (not KDSS) for 6th Gen 2025 4Runner (SDM = Stabilizer Sway Bar with Disconnection Mechanism

I don't know how true it is, but I was told that the KDSS helped considerably with body roll. This was coming from a dealer, mind you. I test drove a brand new 4Runner back in 2013, without the KDSS and it had more body roll than a fat chick on a balance beam. This was a real turnoff for me...
  15. 2025 4Runner Trim Levels, Models, Engines Options - 6th Gen

I'm sure the pricing will ease, once the frenzy subsides. I've never bought a vehicle anywhere close to MSRP and I have no intention to start now. I very much like the 6G, but not enough to pad an unethical dealer's coffers with my money.
  16. Will 6th gen 4Runner TRD PRO compete vs. Bronco Sasquatch and Jeep Wrangler Rubicon? 🥊

As far as I'm concerned, there is no competition. I've been a Toyota fanboy since early 2021 when my wife and I bought a 2008 FJ with almost 140,000 miles on it. We needed a vehicle to keep at our home in AZ, while we were still living in NY. We've owned 4 Jeeps and a plethora of Domestic...
  17. 2025 4Runner Colors Options

I just want Magnetic Gray. It's a staple. I hate all the trendy, "Clear-coated primer", flat grays that are so popular these days.
