I don't think that driving in water that's over the hood is a very good idea. I'm fairly certain that it's not good to submerse your engine under water. Especially if it's a hybrid.
So, I took my own advice on your post, and reached out to Rigid with your question. I received this response this evening:
Unfortunately, we only have the stock videos at this moment, which are shot during the day. I have sent your email and email address to our marketing team to see if they...
It's about time that an OEM finally figured out that Selective Yellow makes a much better option for, "Fog lights", than white. I'm very happy to see this. I do wonder how effective they really are though, considering most OEM fog lights aren't bright enough to be useful.
The first time I drove a car with all of the e-nanny stuff was when we rented a Ford Edge Platinum in Phoenix. I had no idea this car came equipped with any of this stuff. The lane-keeping assist kicked in and I thought I had blown a tire or hit something. I jerked the wheel back to correct my...
IF I get one, the very first thing I'm doing, before driving off the dealer lot, is turning ALL of this nanny crap off. I can't stand any of it. With all this garbage it's no wonder that nobody actually knows how to drive any more.
You don't need a broker. If you go into a dealership and prove that you know more about the vehicle than the salesman does, they are about 200% less likely to fuck around with you and try to BS you. Like I said above, I've never paid close to MSRP. Do the research and be an educated consumer...
My last manual was a 2013 Wrangler, which I absolutely hated. Not the vehicle, but the way it shifted. I only kept it for a little over two years before trading it for a lease on the 2015 F150. In contrast, it replaced a 2003 Jeep Liberty Renegade which I kept for 10 years and had no desire to...
I would have agreed with you about 10 years ago, after driving exclusively manual vehicles for about 20 years. After driving an F150 in 2015, I realized how wonderful it was to be able to just relax and drive.
I've never once paid close to MSRP on a new car and I won't ever. Be a smart consumer and learn how to whittle down the price and get more for your trade. It's illegal for the Window Sticker (Monroney Label) to NOT be still glued to the window.
