She's a beauty! Congrats! the KO3's look great too. There's a video by Wescott designs where he briefly explains pushing the front fender felt forward and removing the bracket in the rear of the front fender. Might be helpful to investigate before you start trimming anything.

I've seen people just take the bottom screws out of the front felt and push the felt forward a bit, then reattach it. Might work for ya.

The wheel calculator has it at 61.3mph actual speed, when the speedometer says 60mph. So not very much at all.
