Thanks boss. The steps were OEM, yes. Just google Toyota Apex predator step, it'll pop up. I didn't screw with the TPMS at all, I've never had alerts or prompts, even when airing down to offroad.
I have 285/70/17 M/T's on stock SR5 wheels and my ride quality is fine. I also ride at 30psi, i honestly enjoy it more than the stock 245's. You can only here subtle noise on the highway with windows down but my music is typically too loud at 35-40 volume to notice. No chub rub either.
This what I have with M/T's plenty capable and not a huge hit to MPG. Been offroad a few times and the SR5 handled it with ease, pretty gnarly stuff stuff too. sheered off the "splash" plate, so I just installed a steel skid.
Completely agree, what gave me some assurance to buy was the engine and chassis being out for a few years. The tech may be worrisome but there is less risk with the SR5 due to lack thereof comparatively to higher trims.
Id also rather be out 47k than 70k+ if they hit the fan, lol.
The SR5 only increased by $195 MSRP comparatively to 2024, all other trims significantly increased. This may be a QC Hold price adjustment. Crazy they would be putting their screw up on us but that's business baby
Very solid, they have a prime day sale as well. I initially got it because I live in Baltimore but have used the front bumper cam a few times off road. great pixel quality.
Absolutely love it, the higher trims are just nowhere near worth it for what you get. Plus, half the people or more getting them will never fully utilize the vehicle. If you can drive offroad, you can drive offroad. My suggestion and what I am doing is buying the upgrades I actually want/need...
It was a blast for sure! Luckily the only casualty was my front license plate, lol. MPG took a hit, I sit at about 16 city and 21 highway. Noted I also removed the air damn and run 87 typically and put in 93 every 2 months or so. Sound isn't noticeable unless windows are down and ride has stayed...
Proper use of a 4Runner: A series of events.
The location was Wolf Den Run State Park, Maryland. Stock SR5 with only upgrade being Falken Wildpeak M/T LT285/70-17 C-Load tires.

Thanks for the response. Only city travel during the week, highways and trails on weekends (if i can). My MPG currently is about 13 city and 16 highway. Yes I know I have a lead foot but still, I try to be conscientious.
