The point is that Toyota designs a part for a reason, and they decide to attached it with bubblegum and pixie dust. And those snorkels? Right in the trash. I want to see one photo of a pavement princess in water deeper than a mud puddle
I use one from ROVE. Front facing only. Wire visible but doesn't bother me. Excellent picture and wifi downloads. I've used 3 or 4 others in the past 10 years
Absolutely. If you can afford it, try it. Any turbo runs much better. I think the manual says you can use 87, but that reminds me of the manual for my 2023 Tacoma, that said to change the oil every 10k.
I think the big picture is that Mother Toyota is selling a new model that's defective. Whether it's an ugly air dam, or any other part that's falling off. These things aren't cheap.
.
They just removed it, after taking lots of photos and writing up all the paperwork to send to Father Toyota
They've heard, and acknowledged the problem, but hadn't seen it at their dealership. That thing comes flying off on the highway, it's going to be a big issue. Let alone all the screws...
My air dam flapped it's way loose. Dealer removed it. Whether or not I wanted it removed, it's factory designed/installed for a reason. Without it, it's costing me $ in lost mpg's. Toyota owes me. ?
What octane are you using? I've been using 93, and up in the "mountains" of Maine, on rough logging roads and paved areas, I was getting 30.2. Back on the flat 22-25. SR5 here
