  1. Power rear window quirks

As for the power hatch not being able to lift with the window down, that is a safety feature put in place because the theory is if someone or something (human or dog or whatever) is hanging out the window, it could become a safety concern. I'm not saying it's realistic, but alas, we live in the...
  2. Papadop88's Underground 2025 4Runner TRD Pro 6th Gen Build

Sure thing. Here's a side shot of how she sits currently. As you can see, it's almost exactly level, with an approximate .5" front rake, which is absolutely perfect. At least for my truck. That's why I'm saying...adding the 1" top hat which gives you an additional .5-.7" lift in the front...
  3. COBB Tuning released for 2025+ 4Runner 6th gen (Accessport + High Flow Air Filter)

COBB is one of the best. Plus the ability to do it yourself is highly beneficial. I don't plan on adding any more power to mine, but love seeing performance gains and also more options out in the market. OTT vs COBB...lets do this.
  4. Buy Pre Painted Fender Flares and Door Handles?

Sorry to hear. I have no idea on Reno's body shop quality, but If you can find a reputable one, there shouldn't be any issue. My buddy owns a certified body shop from all of the OEMs and his color match is always exact. But they know how to prep. I get scale is different here in LA vs Reno...
  5. Buy Pre Painted Fender Flares and Door Handles?

Don't buy aftermarket fenders. They're cheap and look cheap. Particularly with the RCs or the NYTOP carbon fiber ones, they have a lip on the edges which make it look "aftermarket" and an afterthought. They don't look OEM. Personally, I would take it to a good body shop for prep and paint...
  6. Installed 35x12.5 tires (MT Baja Boss) on stock Trailhunter wheels & suspension. Removed crash plates and no rubbing.

Yes. Need to remove the safety plates in the wheel well and might have to do some minor trimming up front, but it’s nothing crazy. Easy stuff. But be safe and if you do not want to trim, 295/70/18 is the max you can go.
  7. Installed 35x12.5 tires (MT Baja Boss) on stock Trailhunter wheels & suspension. Removed crash plates and no rubbing.

Agree. The Baja Boss AT is arguably the best tire you can buy. 3Peak snow rated, works exceptional in the rain and has aggressive sidebiters. I think I'm getting over their weight for the 35 because they are D load, and I'm just gonna replace my Recons with them.
  8. Installed 35x12.5 tires (MT Baja Boss) on stock Trailhunter wheels & suspension. Removed crash plates and no rubbing.

The TRD Pro wheels are 18x8.5. Aren’t the TH the same specs? They should be… Btw, you can put a 35x12.50 on an 8” wheel with no issues.
  9. Papadop88's Underground 2025 4Runner TRD Pro 6th Gen Build

Very welcome. VViViD does not, but Lamin-X does and I'm sure a couple other Chinese brands on Amazon might. If you want Amber, use Lamin-X as they are legit and amazing quality. I'm just not a fan of amber fog lights otherwise I would have gone with amber.
  10. Papadop88's Underground 2025 4Runner TRD Pro 6th Gen Build

Here are the videos showing the install of the VViViD Air Tint film I used to wrap my Rigid fog lights to selective yellow, and the follow up video showing the beam at night. I love selective yellow as I've always run that lens on my Baja Designs lights. Wrap job took about 20-25 mins...
  11. Did Toyota make a mistake. Rigid white/yellow fog lights on TRD PRO!

Thanks. I'll show everything on my YT channel, but yes I had to cut these using an exacto knife after measuring the lights with calipers. They were an exact cut. Took probably 25 mins all in, including the cutting. Nothing is precut for the Rigid lights, so VViViD film off Amazon arived the...
  12. Did Toyota make a mistake. Rigid white/yellow fog lights on TRD PRO!

Here's a $15 mod I did to make my Rigids selective yellow, using VViViD Air Tint Golden Yellow Film. I'm dropping the video tomorrow AM showing the lighting. They shine great. But sorry for the crappy photo. I'll try to get better ones tomorrow.
  13. TRD PRO Badge Inlays...Should I or not? Help Me Decide.

Just as the title states, I'm going back n forth and I'm torn on whether they will look tacky or not. Mocked them up with masking tape to get a better idea. CAST YOUR VOTES ABOVE...
  14. Installed 35x12.5 tires (MT Baja Boss) on stock Trailhunter wheels & suspension. Removed crash plates and no rubbing.

Curious, how's your MPG and ride quality with those tires? I'm actually considering them because they're a "D" load which is soft relative to an "E" load, but at 73lbs per tire, they're making me nervous...
  15. Matte black touch up paint for 2025 4Runner SR5 mirror cap - where to buy?

A cheap fix that has been used in the industry for quick touch ups when in a pinch is nail polish. Depending on the situation, it works. If you absolutely can't find touch up paint, which will be tough for rough plastic components, try matte black nail polish. Ideally, just replace the...
  16. Papadop88's Underground 2025 4Runner TRD Pro 6th Gen Build

Gotcha. Ya since you already have the Peak puck up front see if they will sell you their preload collars specific for the Pro only (they have less preload). That should give you 1.2” of lift in the front and give you that perfect rake. But not sure how that changes with your Peak spacer up...
  17. Papadop88's Underground 2025 4Runner TRD Pro 6th Gen Build

Sorry, I have that info in the description of my YT video but forgot to put it in the thread. I’ll add that. I usually do bottom of fender to center hub, but for this application I do bottom of rim to bottom of fender. I do that because the sidewall of the tire pokes out so much I can’t get...
