295/70/18 Nitto Recon Grapplers in Standard Load (53lbs per tire)
Westcott Designs TRD Pro Lift Kit (Did not install 1" Top Hats in the front)
Slight poke, zero rub, even with the stock ride height.
I will be going up to a full 35x12.5x18 tire (might drop...
I didn't end up using the 1" top hats that Westcott provides in the full lift kit for the TRD Pro and Trailhunter, as well as 4th Gen Tacoma, 2024+ Land Cruiser and 2024+ Lexus GX550. This 1" top hat provides a 0.5-0.7" lift for the front suspension on the TRD Pro 4Runners.
These top hats...
Westcott Designs Lift Kit for the TRD Pro has officially been installed. Thanks to everyone on here who posted theirs up. And big shoutout to Jeff and his team at Westcott for spending the time to sit with me on measurements, etc. And of course, 626 Customs for the flawless install.

That quote is high for just the front end. At that cost, put that money aside and just repaint or paint correct the bumper down the road. In Socal as a daily driver, the only thing you really need to worry about are our bumpers and front end of our hoods. Just not worth it for $2500...
Glad to hear. Great job man. When you get a chance, would still love a side profile shot so we can see the pole with those tires and the spacers. No rubbing with such wide tires and spacers?
Beautiful stance. Excellent job. Love the aggresive look of the KO3s. Hows the ride on them because I believe they're E loads, correct? No shimmy or virbation with the KO3s and the spacers?
Don't worry about the nanny sensors with a lift. You'll be fine. As for drivability, as long as you don't go above what a WD lift gives you (2.5" in the front) you won't have any issues. With any lift though, never expect your ride to feel completely stock. It just will never happen. Ever...
Looks fantastic, Seth. Great look man. I assume they installed both the collar and the top hat in the front, correct?
Mine goes under the knife at 626 Customs tomorrow am and will also report back.
Congrats on the new rig.
PS. Post up some side profile pics to see that poke/stance with...
TRD Pro on 295/70/18 Recons (53lbs per tire), Prinsu Pro Rack (all this matters...)
The tires definitely throw off the calculations because of the bigger diameter. I would say in reality I'm probably getting 1-1.5 mpg higher than what the computer or the gas pump tells me.
Lifetime Average...
those 35 MT Bajas look great man. Can you post up pics of a side profile to see the poke on each side? And yes, on the Pros and THs, if you remove the crash plates, true 35x12.5s should fit on stock suspension without issues. Cheers!
***UPDATE ON WD LIFT***
Since I'm lifting it on Friday, I spoke to WD about the proper alignment specs for my Pro. Here are the numbers they provided me...
Camber | .2 to .4 positive
Toe | .1 out on each side
Caster | 1/5 degree split higher on the right side
I'm no alignment expert...
Hey Scrapp, are you getting any kind of vibration now that it's been lifted? Also, how is the nose dive in the front...has it been eliminated or reduced drastically?
front plates are required here in CA as well. I’ve never run a front plate in my life and never will. Wrecks the design of the front end of every car. I’ve only received 2 or 3 fix it tix for no front plate. Not sure how much they enforce it over there but they don’t seek it out here in CA...
Never heard of any WD racks causing vibration. Something isn't right. Pics might help diagnose the problem. Just make sure all the bolts are tightened down. Maybe the valance is loose and causing the buffering?
Correct. I was speaking with Jason a while back. They don't have many Pros they did R&D on. They're posting a Trailhunter video sometime next week with the lift. However, between Jeff and Jason, I've been getting numbers all over the place. Jeff said they got 1.9" lift on a Trail hunter. I...
