FWIW I got the dashboard storage box and think it's great. It fits perfect and looks like it came that way from the factory.
I appreciate having nooks to store random bits and pieces so will likely get more accessories in your lineup.
So for this part: "and a white wire that I have no idea does what yet" - yesterday I used this white wire to power my rear dash cam located in the trunk. I wired it to this white wire thinking it was one of the Aux circuits. It's not, and yet at the same time it is a source of switched 12v...
I ended up just using one of the pre wired aux switches on my Trailhunter to power the rear dash cam. l ran a the hot wire under trim from behind the driver's side kick panel where the aux plug is and just wired ground to the negative side of the battery. Now I have switched power in the trunk...
So far barely anything. I'm still finding homes for all the random crap I had in my previous vehicle. I do appreciate having places for all the little bits that invariably end up in the car.
Because it's so new I'm still reluctant to clutter it up.
Was a total lurker until today when I finally picked mine up.
Put down deposit in April 9th.
Finally took delivery today.
Trailhunter in underground, zero ragrets.
