FWIW I got the dashboard storage box and think it's great. It fits perfect and looks like it came that way from the factory. I appreciate having nooks to store random bits and pieces so will likely get more accessories in your lineup.

I ended up just using one of the pre wired aux switches on my Trailhunter to power the rear dash cam. l ran a the hot wire under trim from behind the driver's side kick panel where the aux plug is and just wired ground to the negative side of the battery. Now I have switched power in the trunk...

I can tell you that in my wife's '23 Highlander it works like that but it definitely isn't set up like that in the 4Runner. No way it'd fit.

So far barely anything. I'm still finding homes for all the random crap I had in my previous vehicle. I do appreciate having places for all the little bits that invariably end up in the car. Because it's so new I'm still reluctant to clutter it up.

I replaced the ball with the 1" size. Pretty straightforward. I have the same mount and it's great.
