1. oem power running boards (if you live in non snow states)

3. do not get sliders if you are concerned about entry/egress into the cabin (the primary job of a slider is to slide along rocks, not help you get into and out of a vehicle

the good side effect, the wheels from the new gen 22+ sequoia, 24+ tacoma, 22+ tundra fit the 25+ 4runner also.
and they all have the same torque specs. you just have to watch the offset.
most of the wheels across all 4 BoF are roughly 52-57 for the 20s, but you get reall small offsets on the...
i mean you can try since the hub size is 106 on a 5th gen vs a 95 on the 6th gen. you can fit larger to smaller (but you cant smaller to larger) but meh, that would be your call and your liability.
luckily the bolt pattern is the same between the 5th gen vs 6th gen
1. there is a reason why the oem size is 17in or higher, most of the time its the brakes clearing the wheel (4th gen had 16 but the brakes were way smaller
2. 5th gen hub is 106, 6th gen is 95
4th gen had 2 rotor sizes (but the hardware hanging off of it was smaller so it allowed 16in wheels)...
lol really?
since you want a 16, i imagine you need to be the first because i think you are the first person ever to even think of putting a 16 on a 4R in the last 15 yrs.
toyota moved away from 16 back in 2009 when the 5th gen came out.
usually most do it at
1k,
5k/6m
then every 5k/6m after that as a minimum
ADM from CCN recommends every 5k/6m as a minimum regardless of forced or NA
the hard core will do it every 3k
you folks are way to antsy, ive been waiting since 12-dec-2024 and still nothing. even if it showed allocation today, i wouldn't see it until aug-sep
and i check everyday to see if i get my allocation picked up
lol
toyota doesnt share qc hold status info to dealers officially. unofficially dealers can get info though by other means.
the only info dealers get is qc hold status and duration via dealerdaily but that is the extent of info conveyed to dealers.

in my case when my 4runner gets allocated, it will ship into portland, then railcar to kansas city port, then railcar to a smaller railcar location in MN probably then truck carrier from there.
at least that what happened to my 2023 tundra from texas
toyota has 4 major ports for shipments from japan for either toyota or lexus.
portland (does mostly west of Mississippi river and outside GST region), GST port (not sure where this is), SET port (jaxport) and Newark (east of the mississippi river and above SET region
