update 2025-09-29
good part, i still will be first and only platinum sold in ND (edit: i should clarify, sold from a ND dealer, not including out of state buys broght into ND) come mid october :). it did briefly show up on the list as the only platinum listed back in 2025-08-21 but nothing...
i understand the manual issue but with a new gen and people trying to get video's out too fast, i would defer to the manual for better info until a year or two into production.
keeping a pdf on your phone with search is easier than going thru a paper book (do they even have paper books anymore...
um those are standard on the plat trim even though its not listed in the brochure.
the lug nut adapter should have been in one of the cardboard boxes that came with the vehicle or in the plastic bag with the plug adapter for the hitch
try looking in the cubby hole in the back in front of and...
so i have a weird question for those that know more than me about toyota vin's
i know toyota doesnt do a yearly vin reset, so does anyone know when the 5th gen vin sequence reset?
i know that roughly 1.4 million 5th gen toyota 4runners were built. so i know the vin sequence had to reset at...
could try ajt designs.

rivets can be black, red, blue, green
only issue i see with using the odb port is that when you take it into service, they can pull power from your camera and not remember to plug it back in.
i have my dashcam power up with no light and sound, so if i was using the odb port, i would never know it wasnt powered.
i am lazy so i use...
if this is your 1st 4R, read the owners manual (twice and not on the say day), read the multimedia manual and the maintenance manual (they changed the interval on some items vs the 5th gen 4R since the new turbo engine)
since you have a rav4 (year not specified), most of everything should be...
lol im way up in middle of ND. they do invoice if you do allocation reserve requests, but if you buy off the lot you pay msrp. also they dont do crazy markups or addons. what you see on the sticker is what you pay.
the only thing i see they may make a bigger profit is usually the lift kits and...
that isnt exactly true. its a limitation of your dealer not wanting to put in a allocation reserve request to meet your needs.
toyota will fulfill any allocation request and usually regional ports will also fulfill them (albeit with minor changes to required options).
on our 23 tundra, i only...
go drive any 4runner they have on the lot or do a 1 day rental if they have any in the rental fleet.
or if you are in a big city do a few day rental for a car rental agency to get a feel
i think in the future if i replace the oem mud guards, i am going with a full coverage one. that huge gap leaves much to be desired.
same issue i had with our 23 tundra and oem ones. removed them and got some full coverage ones from rekgen.
as someone that has a 23 platinum 4x4 5.5ft, its more of an apples to oranges comparison. the tundra has it pro's and con's vs a 4R.
the mpg on the 18 tundra, we avg after 5 yrs was 11 mpg, the 23 tundra we are getting 12-13 mpg after 2.5 yrs avg, the 14 4R i avg 16 mpg after 11 yrs.
the rear...
