for those that use the remote start, its cheaper to use the app initially (5 yrs or less). once you get beyond 5 yrs aftermarket costs can be cheaper longer term. (being in ND our winters we use the remote start daily from about dec to end of feb)
installing the hardware and cost of a 5 yrs...
normally it isnt. just toyota wont sell a vehicle incomplete or with issues that have been identified before pushing it along to a dealer.
this was very evident during the chip shortage for all auto manufacturers.
where as the big 3 sold and then later told customers they would install or add...
16 city / 19 highway mpg actually on the 5th gen
i actually avg 17-18 mpg per tank since i mostly commute at 75 mph to/from work 4 days a week 15 miles 1-way.
i get about 375/425 miles tank on cross country trips on my 2014 limited, depending on winds and how much i want to stay near the speed...
yeah its frustrating on the keeping the customer informed but toyota usa really doesnt have a process in place like the big 3 on personal vehicle build.
toyota really doesnt have a build process in place since the way they build vehicles is not typical.
toyota builds vehicles to a...
forgot to add, we didnt have an issue with the 10 month wait. we got our 2023 at invoice so it was worth the wait. $67,758 msrp and invoice was $62,750
i am getting my 2025 (26?) at invoice so the wait is not an issue for me.
also i put in my allocation reserve request in dec-2024, so i am...
the sad part is toyota wont pass that info along. since its an internal QC hold (soft stop sale) and the duration is usually worst case its not good PR to pass that info along to dealers, which in turn gets to customers and turns them away.
i mean our 23 tundra when we reserved ours went thru a...
toyota has never communicated QC holds to any dealer in the past and the reason for a QC hold.

only way to thwart someone is to secure the rod port to lower the wheel.
but if i remember the port can only be reached...
the good part of x-reas is that its a closed system mechanically and has no sensors. its easy to replace to a standard gas shock system when the system fails. all you have to do is abandon the hydraulic cross linked lines in place and slide in some new shocks.
avs on the the other hand has too...
yeah until you see the price for aftermarket tanks. probably be $1500-$2500 for one
probably leaning more toward to be above $2000 for an extended tank
regardless of what you set it at, the internal setting outside the main screen is set to 5000 miles and comes on at 4500 miles. this is based on the maint manual tire rotation schedule.
lol maybe find a better dealer/sales person.
thats not a toyota issue thats a dealer training/sales person issue.
its not that freaking hard to pull up a status in dealerdaily. i know sales people dont usually have access to that screen but the sales managers do.
i usually go up the the sales...
