Yes definitely worth getting if there's any possibility at all that you'll do any towing. The reason being if you don't get the Tow Tech Package, your 4Runner won't come with the harness for plugging in a trailer brake controller. And even dealerships can't retrofit install the OEM harness. So...

Yea I had posted up the DIY but asked for it to be deleted because the 4Runner's AUX wiring hook up is a bit different than the Tacoma. There's more than one pigtail harness cable and they plug into different locations in the engine compartment. Hope someone will step up here and post up DIY...

Yep 2024+ Tacoma (4th gen) wheels will fit the 2025+ 4Runner (6th gen). They share the same bolt pattern / center hub bore. As well as brake sizes and clearance.

Yea they look like fog light amber vinyl overlays - to change their color without changing the fog light bulbs.

Interesting idea never thought spray bedlining the skid plates. Makes sense for extra protection and some might prefer the black skid plate look over the silver steel / aluminum look. The red TRD letters logo also stands out more against the black. Only downside I can think of is the Line-X...
