Spent the 4th with the wife exploring Weiser State Forest (Green) Trails. These were along the 1/4 mile stretch leading to the entrance to the State Forest.
Hard to see but they were mini American Flags someone put there for the 4th. Pretty cool.
On the way home seen a (Blue) on OnX and...
It does get hot, but what's your secret.
No matter which phone I use or how I position it, it will disconnect and reconnect going over bumps multiple times on any given trip. Doesn't disconnect Android Auto, just the charging process.
Have sliders on order right now and talked to them on Friday to check up on progress. Their orders are behind right now due to the high temps in Arizona. Said the curing process for the powder coat is taking forever to cool properly.
Waiting anxiously....

I have the same camera in all my work vans and got the dongar to install on the 6G4R. Just wish the Dongar connecting cables were like the Viofo's with the offset end for better concealment of the wiring.
.
Yes, on every other bump it disconnects then reconnects. Drives me nutz. Needs something to hold it tight instead of flopping around.
Maybe a door stop wedge...

I found that problem early on but it seems it's learned and stays in the center of the lanes now.
First time using the assist I just about freaked out how close it ran to the center line.

That's unacceptable.
I'm starting to realize that alot of these companies are happy to take your order, but once that it's done customer service drops to zero.
Personally I'd try and contact them again and if you don't get a response, cancel payment, pack it up and send it back. JMHO

How much poke does your tires have. I tried to keep mine as even to the flare as possible, I'm running a max 1/2" poke.
I run alot of gravel roads off roading also and so far have been lucky and haven't had any rocks hit the side, mud yes, and high up on the rear door, but so far no rocks...
I was under the impression you should always let it warm up pre driving and cool down post driving a bit because of the turbo. But I may be mistaken, first turbo.

Got a few items from Mysology yesterday and they included a Dash Organizer in my order that I already have. I did test fit it and it fits perfectly.
Mysology was quick to respond and told me to keep it or pass it on. Anyone either in the NE area for a meet or is willing to pay for shipping...
Seen my first 6G on Sunday heading to the offroad park, and it was a ice cap Pro....lol
We both looked at each other and couldn't figure out what type of "Jeep Thing" greeting we should do. So we just did the 2 finger wave and drove on....lol
.
Nope, just blew it off the face of the grille and seen how much dust came out. I'll be pulling them later today and checking and possibly replacing them.
A word of caution, I was out off roading yesterday and it was quite dusty. Once I got back to the shop I blew the interior out with a compressor before wiping it down. When I got to the fan opening for the hybrid battery and blew air into it I got a ton of dust out of it.
Don't forget to keep...
Runs from the front to the mid crossmember.
Here's how it mates with the TRD front plate
It's not the full protection I'll eventually need but it'll serve it's purpose for now.
