Right now it's about 39-55F in my area, but I've also experienced this in the summer mornings as well. So it's not directly related to cold temps per say, but just when the transmission itself is not warmed up yet.
I do the same on my Limited. Question for ya
Does your 4runner shift a little weird when driving/starting up cold? I've noticed that the first few initial shifts early in the morning/while the trans is still cold can result in some ... rather awkward shifts
Goes away right after tho
Agreed. For a 4cylinder turbo I expected better, but then I think about how much it's hauling and it kinda makes sense.
That said, I still think a larger 6-cylinder would've made more sense if the tradeoff in terms of gas mileage is minimal in return for more reliability. Please lmk if my...
Looking to do exactly the same on mine + skid plates. Has this impacted your driver assist systems in any manner?
Someone else did something similar and they noted that there were no major changes they could notice, but wanted to get a secondary data point.
Okay so I'm gon be real.. I have a feeling I won't be able to do this within 3-4 hours so I may have to ask a professional lmao
Mostly bc I live in an area where the sun will get blazing hot and I don't have a garage/carport. But shitttt I'd try if this wasn't my wife's daily as well. Your...
RIGHT?! Hahaha I say the same thing whenever that happens or something like "we'll you're the one driving!"
Definitely taking some getting used to with these systems but sheesh. Can't believe I've reached an age where the tech can be overwhelming now
I'd love to buy American. I highly considered a new 2025 Dodge Durango (didn't even consider the Bronco at the time) but was concerned about overall reliability over time. Especially if I intend on driving this 5ever. Though I'm sure with proper upkeep, a good Ford will last quite well over...
Hey Folks - Just curious as to how people feel about the drivers aid tech?
For the most part/98% of the time, Toyota's safety systems are so damn good I can't stop raving about it. However, every so often I'll be driving along the highway with perfect lanes and road conditions on the left...
I think we can all agree that this is bad news bears regardless of how Toyota decides to absorb the cost. Like some folks have already mentioned, they will only be able to take so much of the cost.
If you were someone printing out custom 4Runner parts at home and all of a sudden your filament...
Kind of a dumb question here, but how does one get "corporate" involved with these scenarios?
I don't think I need this option at the moment, but curious how it's even done or where one even gets started with such a process
