I can confirm there is a difference in the view. I have not had mine calibrated and when pulling into parking spots you can see the distortion in the lines. Not the end of the world but obviously not the way it should be.
Trying to find a high beam trigger wire and struggling. After some time with my multimeter I've confirmed the lighting on these are way more complex than I know how to deal with. Was hoping it was going to be as simple as a 12v+ lead for high beams that I could tap into but no such luck. If I...
Looks great!!! I did the swap a week ago and one of m favorite changes. I'm actually not mad at the fact that it takes a lot more work than it did on the 5th gen. Won't see it as commonly done.
You do not need a new cable. You can cut the existing one out of the existing harness to reroute it but buying another cable eliminates that step. You just leave the OEM cable in place and install the new one to the new location.
I wanted to go with the D Switch to give it a try. I like some of the features but my measuring said the switch panel wouldn't fit in that spot very well or look very good if shoe horned in there. Not sure why they had to make the actual panel so large. I went with the SPOD BantamX in their...
I’ve never been without them so hard to compare but I’d imagine it’s pretty dang dark without them. I have yet to ever need more light to do whatever I’m doing back there.
Rave provides a separate camera harness. I believe it is from a Tundra. You don’t extend your harness, you simply use the new one leaving the old one in place.
You could also just cut the factory camera wiring out of the harness that includes the fog wiring and radar thing. I believe it’s just...
Thanks. I didn't take any vid or pics doing mine because I wanted to concentrate on getting it done. I used the Rave Off Road video for reference as I did it. They cover most of it but did leave out a few screws and clips here and there. Still a great video to reference while doing it though...
You only move one camera and I'm not sure that I will need to calibrate it. I didn't notice it being very off yesterday at all. I might ask the dealership when in for service if it is something they can do. My understanding is they can do something in the system to tell it to use the PRO camera...

It was about as much fun as I was expecting. Nothing is crazy difficult. Just takes time and strategy. If I can offer one bit of advice, use microfiber rags as a wedge to keep parts separated while you undo clips. It is like having an extra set of hands.
Used 4ea Baja Designs S2's in Westcott...
I have left the OEM running boards on my TRD OR simply for paint protection. I don't use them for anything else and would actually prefer them be gone. Was kinda waiting for sliders to help prevent rock chips on the rockers but curious. Has anyone removed their running boards with aggressive...
Ahh. Gotcha. I misunderstood. Thought you already did this so was curious which route you went. I'm gathering all the little parts to do the swap on mine.
