If the tire is an E load range and thick side walls, the tires might need some more PSI. Those tires have a maximum PSI of 80. I ran 42 PSI cold (middle of the night cold) in my E load 18" Wildpeak AT4s and Yokohama Geolandar GO15 tires on a Tundra to eliminate the wobble from 50-60 mph. In...
I ran 275/70/18 E-load in the Falken Wildpeaks AT4s and the Yokohama Geolandars GO15s on a Tundra. They were very wobbly at 50 mph unless I ran a specific PSI due to ten ply sidewall. I ran 42 PSI (middle of the night cold after sitting for hours) Those tires have a max PSI of 80 so even with...
I'm coming from a 2021 Tundra Crewmax 4x4 SR5 to a 25 4runner SR5. While that is apples and oranges when comparing I am very happy with the 4Runner SR5. My only complaint is the loosey goosey rear spoiler, everything else is tight. As for option packages there isn't any. Our 25 Tacoma SR5 at...
My remote connect was not working since I got the vehicle a month ago. The key fob worked but I could not use the app for remote starting etc. Finally today I got someone to walk me through the whole process and it works great now. Took about thirty minutes of my time so be patient. We did a...
Are the SR5 4Runner models prewired for JBL? Our Tacoma SR5 has JBL and from the drivers door everything is identical except the rear of the console due to rear seat vents. If this is so the A-pillar speakers would be a great addition.
275/70/17 Falken Wildpeak AT4s. Just took a 12 hour trip and they were quiet and rode great. Note: nothing is going to give you the gas mileage and ride quality of a OE spec tire on a new car.
Yes, but be very careful of you will scratch the center cap or your wheel. I used two computer repair screw drivers with painters tape on the ends. Do not use pics, they are not strong enough.
Has anyone installed or had installed a Westcott Design lift 2.5" frt, .75" rear on a SR5 with original shocks?
I have not been able to source any Bilsteins or comparable and was wondering if the factory shocks could handle the lift.
Any help is appreciated.
In the last year we have purchased a 25 Tacoma SR5 and recently a 25 4Runner SR5. The Toyota Connect works perfectly on the Tacoma, but will not work on the 4Runner. I will note that I can use the "Key Fob" for remote start and unlocking and to lock the 4Runner, but when it comes to the App on...
Absolutely, parking sensors should be included or at least in a small option package like it is on the SR5 Tacoma. If I didn't need back seat passenger room I would have gotten a long bed SR5. None the less I will add the parking sensors to my 4Runner along with a front camera.
