It all depends on what you are planning on using your truck for.
Compared to fixed running boards motorized running boards can add extra weight and maintenance, while taking away better body protection.
The sales tax in the state that you are purchasing the vehicle from is 6%. So...$69,369 X 6% = $4,162.14
So, yes it's that much.
You always pay whatever the sales tax is in the state that you are purchasing the vehicle from, not your own state.
Was this a model that you were told was being sent to your dealership and you had the dealer reserve it for you? As far as I know it's not possible to put a actual order in for one, the dealers are sent whatever Toyota wants to send them.
I have a order in for a Trailhunter. Being six feet two inches I was relieved to find out that the vehicle doesn't come with a sun roof. Dodged that big problem!
You're probably thinking about VSC or Vehicle Stability Control. VSC senses when the vehicle is slipping and does things like decreasing the throttle in order to try and keep the vehicle under control.
On page 431 I see "TRAC". Is this the same as A-Trac? From what I can tell from the manual "TRAC" automatically comes on when it senses wheel slip and the only choice the user has is to temporarily turn it off. Am I missing something?
Does anyone know what type of air chuck is getting used on the built in air compressor that is in the Trailhunter?
A picture would be wonderful.
I was just wondering whether I would half to change it out to something useful after getting the vehicle.
Thanks.
I believe what they are trying to say is that most of the controls in the older 4Runner's are directly connected to the thing that you are trying to control, versus the new 4Runner's that use the "fly by wire" system.
Here is how one person dealt with the sound:
