  1. Took my 4Runner offroading again (Onion Creek). Loving this vehicle

I'm running the KO3s on my 5th gen TRD Off-Road and have had good luck with them. I thought that they were going to be noisy but they're really not.

What tires are you running and what would you change to?
  3. 25% tariff on ALL imported autos announced

I also talked with my dealer yesterday. I have a deposit down on a Trailhunter that is supposed to arrive between 5/3 and 5/21. I was told that as long as it actually arrives between the given dates that they would honor the agreed upon price. So there's hope!
  4. Body Side Moldings actually prevent door dings? [photos in thread]

I ordered my Trailhunter with them. I think that they do prevent shopping carts from dinging the door. I don't have the truck yet.
  5. Factory Tundra BBS Wheels + KO3 285/65R18 on TRD Sport 2025 4Runner

That does bring up a good question. For the people that are running KO3's what load range did you decide to go with?
  6. 25% tariff on ALL imported autos announced

    I can't see the article. I don't have a NY Times account.
  7. Running power / cable from cab up to roof

I know what you mean but it seems like that is the way most people do it.
  8. “Ordering” not available nationwide

Hi Gail, Here is how the Toyota process works: https://www.4runner6g.com/forum/threads/2025-4runner-ordering-and-allocations-explained.1233/
  9. 6th Gen + Snow = Amazing

Thank you for the nice explanation. I still wonder whether the ECU on modern vehicles can change the timing enough that you don't half to worry as much about the fuel being used.
  10. 6th Gen + Snow = Amazing

Must be for those people taking the high speed runs out in the Mojave desert. ;)
  11. 6th Gen + Snow = Amazing

I suspect that different parts of the U.S. have different low end octane ratings. You are probably just used to seeing 87 octane in your area.
  12. 6th Gen + Snow = Amazing

Since the engine is designed for 87 octane wouldn't the computer adjust for the added altitude? What am I missing?
  13. Toyota Regions = why different sales incentives & lease / financing rates between states & regions

As I mentioned in another post, I've had very poor luck purchasing a truck across regional lines. Two dealers blocked me from doing so. I've heard it said that dealers want to keep you local so that you will spend your money with them on servicing your new vehicle.
  14. TRD Pro Allocations

You're welcome. I believe that Balise Toyota of Warwick is the largest dealer in RI. Scratch that. I just took a look at there customer service ratings and they are terrible. It appears that Valenti Toyota in Westerly, RI has a great customer rating.
  15. TRD Pro Allocations

Since different TRD Pro's get allocated to different dealers, I think that it would be valuable to get on the list with whichever the biggest dealer is in each state within your region. I would contact one dealer per state. Here is the Toyota region map in case you don't know it:
  16. TRD Pro Allocations

Just be aware that if you are shopping out of your region that dealers usually won't sell you a vehicle. I tried to purchase a truck twice out of region and been shut down both times.
