This is purely for leveling and stiffening the rear springs for carrying heavier weight. Its not an air suspension that you would find in a luxury suv, that would replace the spring entirely instead of supplementing it.
with out the trailer i drop it to 5psi and it rides the same as stock...
I recently fitted and towed with the airlift kit for the 5th gen in the 6th gen in case anyone is waiting on a kit. Firestone recently shared the same part number for their bags from 5 gen to 6th gen.
Loaded with a camaro and aired up to 35psi it raised the rear about 1 inch and lowered the...
A DW hitch? not sure what that is but i just have a regular 2inch drop hitch but switching to a 3inch as per the math but yea i loaded a little too tongue heavy on that trip. On the return trip i moved the car forward about 4 or 5 inches and it leveled out better. The GT4 is on pagid yellows the...
I know some people don't like hood scoops, I do like them so if any supersonic RED hood scoop owners in the tri-state would like to trade for a non scooped hood let me know. Im only at 4000 miles right now
Ive never been a fan of ebc for sports and race applications for some reason they have always underperformed at the track. I recently tried the SR11 pad in my camaro and still didnt like it much. I wish carbotech made a truck pad.
As for towing the trailer is 1550lb and the car is about 2900lb...
Nah plain ceramic has less braking performance then semi metallic pads by nature. I know they make a few carbon/ceramic pads that may improve it or otherwise a towing specific pad
Has anyone tried any higher biting brake pads? It tows well and brakes well but I would like a little more grab im the truck with or without a trailer. Under hard braking it does feel a bit lacking.
I just got a greese gun for my trailer and i was curious about the fittings under these. Ill have to give it a look but i feel like you got it all. Most cars dont typically have too many fittings on the oem parts
Its a good question and i will be flushing mine a bit early at 15k because of those issues the tacos had but typically transmissions dont get as dirty as fast as engine oil because the engine oil is exposed to combustion and debris from the fuel and air, the transmission is sealed to its self...
At home, my friend just got a 2025 integra. We dropped the oil around 1800 miles last weekend to find the same kind of faint metallic flake at the bottom as well.
finally, i cant believe it took so long for this vid, thanks!
That torque management nerfed its take off same as mine does but it was reeling it in before the finish line.
I know hp is just an equation of torque but the torque isnt as broad or consistent as id like, i know its largest bump in tq is in the common cruising rpm. When i drove the land cruiser it felt like such a slug, maybe the battery didnt have enough charge or maybe it reacts differently to 87...
I feel you, but at a nearly 500 lb increase, 8% isnt enough for me. Soon we will be tuning these engines and turning up the turbos and higher flowing exhausts to make up that power difference. I would rather be lighter and less potential electrical issues in exchange for the extra low end grunt...
Im a fan of Pennzoil as well. Over the years i've seen oil testing and Pennzoil is always in the top ranks for lowest wear and a great additive package.
As for turbo life I agree with you that we me get 150 -200k out of a moderatly used one but coming from a diesel field formerly we did have...
No not the cap, they have fins inside that open and close to help regulate radiator air flow if you look in the grill. Theyre electrical and flip open and closed. It will splash when raining or after a car wash
