It's definitely a legit Pixel 9 Pro, and I have like 5 other wireless chargers I use around the house and office, all of which are affected by the camera bump but still charge no problem. In the 4Runner I even put some foam padding in the bottom of the tray so the phone can't slide around on the...
Yeah but again it's more the weight being farther back that puts exponentially more downforce than a single bike closer to the hitch, especially hitting bumps. I'd be more comfortable carrying 600lbs close to the hitch than 400+lbs on a six foot long lever. Might be totally fine, might not be...
Looks awesome, definitely planning to do this myself. I agree the grill still looks better blacked out than with a bronze logo, but the Trailhunter grille would be sick.
What overlays did you go with? I've looked at several that kind of look more flat beige than bronze, at least in the online...
Good point, definitely shouldn't put anything metal there that could potentially heat up. I do wonder though -- going off of the charging icon on the screen that turns on and off, is the induction charger always putting out a current, or does it only activate when it detects that there's a phone...
My Android phone, a Pixel 9 Pro, likes to light up constantly whenever it's on the wireless charger. Seems like it's constantly disconnecting from charging, then every time it reconnects it lights up the phone. Gets real annoying when the screen is flashing on and off every 20 seconds as I'm...
One thing I've noticed is that I seem to have more connection issues and audio skips when my phone is in my pocket -- I suspect being squeezed up against my left leg must block a bit of signal. Putting it on the charger in the dash seems to resolve it. Annoying that I still have to remove my...
Tennessee/North Georgia -- I called probably 20 different dealerships looking for an ORP with the color and features I did and didn't want. Deposits ranged from $500 to $1500 (all refundable) and a few didn't require any deposit at all. A few did have mandatory dealer add-on packages like PPF...
I assume these stick out less than the factory floorboards? I can't stand the floorboards since I tend to step past them and always end up getting mud on the back of my leg. I'd remove them but also like having the step for loading kayaks -- hoping to get low profile rock sliders that will solve...
This looks great! I have the driver's side window panel from CaliRaised and love it -- was thinking about adding the rest but was worried about the overhead panel blocking the rear view. Sounds like that isn't an issue? Does it have a lip on both sides so items can't fly off of it? Any rattling...
Get the Spigen Tempered Glass in matte. No solution or wet install required. Took me all of 2 minutes, no bubbles whatsoever, and it's great. No glare and hardly any finger prints visible even when the screen is off. Unfortunately they don't seem to have one for the instrument cluster yet, but...
They're all just cheap Amazon bags, probably made for Airsoffters. They use snap enclosures and work pretty well though. I'm a kayaker and mostly just use them for sunscreen/bugspray, spare cam straps, carabiners, first aid, and random other little stuff...
They cover the thin little top cubby entirely -- you won't really be able to keep much of anything in there. The main storage cup things on top of the wheel wells are totally fine though -- those aren't covered at all unless the stuff you hang off the panel blocks them.
That looks like a hell of a lot of weight putting a hell of a lot of torque on the hitch. Recommended max hitch weight for a TRD Pro would be around 600 pounds, and that's not really accounting for the weight being that far back from the leverage point -- every bump you go over has got to be...
It's usually quicker to just hold the Radio On/Off button for a couple seconds -- that resets the entertainment center and should initiate a new connection attempt, assuming you have it set to auto-connect. Much easier than digging through the Toyota menus to find your phone.
Can you give a bit more detail on wiring to the factory aux system for an ORP? Did you have to install a button in one of the dash blanks to turn it on and off?
I'm kind of annoyed by this too -- I don't believe it's any issue with the build, it's just cheap and flimsy by design. I have a big heavy fishing kayak that I take out regularly -- I was always able to load it myself onto my Jeep by propping up the bow on the rear spoiler (with a towel down to...
Here's my Cali Raised driver's side panel installed, with some cheapo Amazon Molle bags. (Apologies, I didn't think to take pictures before I stuck all the crap on it).
Product arrived just a few days after purchase - no instructions in the box but there's a youtube walkthrough. Install was...
