Like many people responded is disbelief! Iam sure you have many miles and many smiles! Years of offroading I would not have a concern with the abilities we achieved. This was not your first “Sunday Drive”?
Does anyone have specs on the travel of suspension?
A) Without pre load?
B) With weight of vehicle?
This would help all of us to determine which tires and offset combinations will work best
Thanks……
?Love that great look. What height are your wheels? And one more thing, do they sick out from the fenders? or are they tucked in? Really helpful to us in the community, because some of us want to keep our OEM wheels! Thank You
Now this explains an awful lot! So it seems I can keep my stock wheels and use a 1” spacer to clear obstructions… You have 33” Iam wishing for 34”Thanks for the diagram!
Your rims in the pics seem to almost come out perpendicular to the fenders at the start .Where stock rims are inside quite a bit? Thats why I thought I need spacers for my wheels….You sure you do not have spacers for those wheels to increase the offset?
Stock 18” with 8” width rims have 45mm offset….Dang thats more than yours….sure is the set up I was trying to figure out, but I have a 3.5” lift in the front and a 1” rear…..Now Iam getting confused?‍??‍??‍??‍??‍??‍?
I drove that Jeep with the huge motor! It was not fun, felt really awkward, shifting was bad, braking was also bad, and corners at any speed was disappointing. So glad Iam a 4Runner owner.
Ok Yeah! I did not try that, thanks… Always some good info to have! Just got back from steelership. It looks the whole moulding of the rear door has moved away from door. They want it for 4 hrs?
