Now I have to go look again... did I say this all backwards???
it does look like the word front is on the side with the lip!
.... ok no I said it right the first time. The front is definitely the sharp side without the extra lip on top.
It just looks like a lip in some pics because of the way...
Notice the original post on the other forum does not contain any links to any shop or docs or anything, it only says to email that address. So I am doing exactly what they explicitly directed me to do.
Their post says "email us at .. for more info", and when you do so all they say is "go bother...

Yes those are backwards. Mine came installed backwards from the dealer too.
It's not just common sense from looking at the shape either, there is s sticker under the end cap cover that says FRONT explicitly.
My cross bars were installed backwards from the dealer. There is a different shape on the leading vs trailing edge so if they're installed backwards it might make more noise. I took them off though because I only want them on if I'm going to use them. Most of the time they'll be in the garage.

You do NOT need Connected Services for the keyfob remote start. Not ever, not even once to register or activate or accept terms or anything like that.

Screenshots from the video.
Looks almost pointless to me. Maybe the ARK are a little stronger and flatter, so less likely to get ripped apart from things scraping against them. But the splash coverage area looks only microscopically more than stock. Not enough to actually make any difference at...
You do NOT need connected services for the key fob remote start.
I never made an account, never registered anything, never accepted any terms, never installed the phone app, in fact I even installed the DCM Bypass Kit that physically disconnects the module that does all the telematics, the...
What is the part number for the plain matte black SR5 part?
Anyone who installed a metal bumper want to sell me their original plastic part?
Stuffed it into a trailer tongue because I don't have any kind of front camera or front parking sensors and you can't see at all down there.
I think the felt thing is actually not quite as stupid as it looks at first.
I mean obviously it is still nothing but a splash guard not strong enough for anything else.
But I think the felt is actually plastic, just made into fibers and compressed, and the point is probably to resist...
I disabled it with a Launch bi-directional programmer from aliexpress, x431 or something like that, $115 but no subscription and no limits. It disabled the continuous alarm but it does still do 5 dings once every time at first.
So I printed a simple pacifier that plugs into the buckle, now no...
in the non-hybrid there is a spot just big enough for a 12inch soft bag, but no good way to hold it in place there. I use a 48" bungee, an s-hook, and a carabiner to make a triangular rigging that traps a small folding hand truck, and that acts as a wall that traps the tool bag as well as a few...
