Dont do that. I had mine ran that way and water pooled in from a car wash. It needs to be mounte d on the headliner.
If you want to test, take a glass of water and pour it down the seam of where the door hatch opens/closes on the roof. If the USB cable/wire goes over the seal, you'll...
Yea I don't really even use the app myself. I've used the remote start a handful of times to turn the AC on during the hot weather before heading out, and to see if the service guys are done with my car (by judging if windows and doors are closed and locked lol). I don't even use the built in...
The dealer is correct. You need a subscription. The key fob interacts with the computer in the vehicle, and if the vehicle detects the subscription is expired, the car doesn't unlock with the toyota mobile app or remote start with the Fob. It's stupid. When mine expires, I'm going to get an...
Updated with OEM TPMS part number:

Hey all.
Does anyone know the official part number for the OEM TPMS Sensors for the 2025 TOyota 4runner? I have a ORP Hybrid if that makes any difference.
I'm having a really hard time getting shops in the area to...
Hi all.
I have a bit of a weird issue and no one seems to know what is going on. I just got a Thinkware U3000 dashcam system installed on my 4runner, and its being powered through the OBD2 port - which is all fine and good. Camera Systems work as expected.
However, the issue is with my...
I would have kept mine but they decided to stick a rather large bar code sticker right on top of it, and it wouldn't peel off. I got the spigen protector and it works great, easy to install - no bubbles or dust particles luckily.

I just read up on it here. It must be a bit different on the 4Runner since the hybrid system isn't really for efficiency but for power, so the numbers may be different. I'm not 100% sure though.
Interesting, just read your post - yours is happening in 4High? I just notice it when in 2WD. It's a bit jarring - I'm getting used to it but yea.... so it's called a K0 clutch? I want to mention this to my Toyota Sales guy to see if there's a known problem. Thanks for your response.
Hi All.
I have a TRD off road premium hybrid with the stock 32.6" Michelin LTX A/T 2 tires (265/70R18).
I just bought a set of the TRD 18” matte black wheels PTR56-35242-F1.
Will the stock tires fit on those rims I bought without issue?
I wanted to put the new black rims on for summer use...
Hi all.
Please excuse my ignorance as this is the first Hybrid I've owned, and I'm not used to or don't know what to expect with this Hybrid system on the 4Runner (especially since it's not for efficiency driving).
I am still in my break in period, I have about 1200 km recorded (approx 750...
The dealership I got mine at was Orangeville Toyota. Thought I'd update you on this. The dealership mentioned to me the Hybrids were pushed back another 1-2 months, not sure why... and I think they had 3 gas models on allocation for customers. This was as of this past Friday.
They were pressuring me to finance to get numbers. They weren't trying to justify anything - the sales guy got the finance person to come out and sit at the desk and ask all of the questions - was very weird. The original attempt was for a gas model, not hybrid.
Thanks, and yea they may add some stuff on top - gotta make that desicion to proceed or walk. It's your money at the end of the day, you should have the power in this case.
Hi everyone.
I thought I'd share my experience purchasing a new 2025 Toyota 4Runner Off Road Premium Hybrid (yes Hybrid), here in Ontario Canada.
Sorry if it's a long read. TLDR at bottom.
I currently drive a Rav 4, and have been since about 2017. I bought the car used and I've managed to...
