I am 3 days into my new Trailhunter. Love it! I wasn't sure about the hybrid, (worth it?) Totally worth it, I test drove a Tacoma without the hybrid (They didn't have a 4Runner on the lot at the time) and now I'm driving the Hybrid, I would not go back. (It's not for the fuel economy :) It's...
Yeah, I think the floodgates opened, they received the parts they needed, now it's more a logistic problem, they have to get all these 4Runners to destination as fast as possible, plus the new ones coming in... I'm glad mine was at the front of the line... (knocking on wood)
Since Toyota is doing Kaizen (Constant improvement) I'm pretty sure they 1) fixed it on the assembly line, 2) Fixed it prior to get to the boat... I'm 90% sure you should be fine, the hold has been lifted.
Yeah, it lowers down the paranoia... At first when ALL the of 4Runners were on hold, With no explanation, the first reaction, is "Oh shit! What am I getting?! What will break?" Even worst for those who already got theirs... If you're missing a part, or just need to have a few rivets to...

There's a QC Hold thread I'm participating in. From what I understand at some point in May (date varies) All 4Runners were put on QC Hold. Mine got at the port right on that date, I was supposed to pick it up on 5/21. It's still on hold.
From the multiple information and people who...
Yeah, and we bought the first year of a new version, so we were kind of asking for it... :) I'm just jealous of the people who already got theirs... :p
Yeah that's pretty much what is happening to me, 2 months... QC Hold May 21st, ESTIMATED (not even sure yet) July 15th... siiigh... I needed to tow something at the end of June, this is starting to suck big time...
I did visit the previous Jacksonville port (a long time ago, before westlake) When the cars get off the boat they looked like they were used. (They are wrapped and coated for travel) They clean them up, there was a pin striping section back then, and option install (light in the cargo area...
