Installed a Sherpa on my Gen 5 and putting another Sherpa on my Gen 6 next week after I get PPF on the roof. Biggest pain is getting the covers off stock rails and they're not hard. Sherpa doesn't use silicone, mounts and washers are rubber coated and seal themselves. Had the rack on/off a couple times to ceramic seal and never had a leak. This time won't have to deal with that because of PPF
