I went with the @NYTOP rock sliders. Everyone has their own reasons for purchasing specific brands. For me, it was to keep the mud spray and debris coming into contact with the side of the vehicle. IFYKYK!!
Simple, Xtra protection for the hitch. Ensure, if you’re putting on a hitch locking pin, it needs to be 4.5” long. I went with the standard size, it doesn’t fit, due to the 6000lb towing capacity. Toyota enforced the hitch. Got both from Amazon Reno hitch slider, and Towworks lock.

I’ve ordered this for the rear hitch receiver. Solid one piece aluminum. It’s called a hitch slider, for protection and recovery.
