  1. Oil Dipstick Hard to Read

Oh interesting… does the 5.9 qts in theory land at the upper divot? If so, would it be best to under fill a bit to avoid going over the 5.9qt limit?
  2. Oil Dipstick Hard to Read

Anyone find it incredibly difficult to read the engine oil dipstick after a change? I’ve also struggled to get a clean pull that doesn’t have streaking which makes it even harder to get a good read… open to any creative ideas.
  3. How to shift gear smoothly

Something I’ve found to help (sometimes) is holding down the brake, shifting to N, apply parking break, let go of brake pedal, then shift to park. It seems to take some tension off the transmission and allows for a much smoother shift in the AM. It’s not 100%, but give me a piece of mind.
  4. Wheel alignment results

Definitely need to do an alignment on mine. I’m surprised they don’t come from the factory better aligned…
  5. 12v power extension (for hood hookup) in Hybrid iForce Max 4Runner (DIY)

I’m really bad with understanding car electrical systems, so excuse the dumb question, but why connect directly to the 12v battery as opposed to the hybrid system? Maybe a better question for my understanding to, but if you have the pre wired auxiliary switches, do those connect to the 12v or...
  6. Limited Hybrid trunk motor does not completely raise open

FYI if your back window is down, the trunk will not open. It’ll unlatch and move a few inches then beep at you and stop. No idea why it’s a thing, but it is.
  7. Steering Wheel Creaking?

Interesting… does it sound like it’s coming from the column? My creaking sounds like it’s coming directly from where the steering wheel attaches to the column (I.e right behind the Toyota emblem).
  8. Steering Wheel Creaking?

Hey all- my TRD PRO has started creaking when turning the steering wheel. It sounds like it’s coming from the column as opposed to the drive train/suspension components itself. I’d expect this of an older vehicle, but only have 7k on the car so it’s a bit shocking… very easy to replicate for a...
  9. HVAC Questions - 2025 SR5

I don’t know if the SR5 has this option, but my TRD pro has a button that will turn rear HVAC on/off. I’ve noticed that disengaging that (I.e you want airflow to the back), then physically closing those rear vents will create better air flow in the front.
  10. Tire Pressure PSI for On-Road Driving

I think it got decently better at 38. It’s not a world of a difference, but I noticed that it softened smaller bumps.
  11. Tire Pressure PSI for On-Road Driving

Did you notice a ride quality difference on 33? Or did you never really drive with 50?
  12. Tire Pressure PSI for On-Road Driving

Hey all! I'm a bit unsure about the answer here, despite there being some good tangential information on this forum. I have the 6th Gen TRD Pro with the 265/70R18 Toyo Open Country A/T III all-terrain tires. The sidewall mentions the max pressure is 50PSI, but the door card lists 33PSI. I got...
  13. Mudbath TRD Pro - Review at 600 miles and counting

Curious to know what the professional rust proofing entailed (and price if you’re willing to share!). I live in an area that uses a lot of road salt in the winter and have been toying with the idea of getting this done on my TRD Pro.
